  1. It feels like the plane has a full fuselage tank that makes it about as manuverable as a sick duck. How do you adjust the fuel level? As is you can't possibly fly this in a combat situation.
  2. BelgarionNL, I'm interested in your profile. I use G940 and also have TrackIR5.
  3. Don't stop now. I'm looking for the next generation IL2 replacement. Bring on a worthy opponent, late model Me 109 or FW 190, and I guarantee you'll have people swarming. Out of small beginnings come great things!
  4. Rock, I can't wait for your skinning talent either. I know how goood you are. One of my favorites is your Old Crow for IL2.
  5. Not having the advantage of flying the real Cub, I do enjoy flying the4 A2A Accusim Cub and it is both fun and challenging. Watching your P51 videos inspired me to continue practicing takeofs and landings and last night I think I finally got the feel for it. Like someone said previously, a hour and half went by unnoticed.
  6. Expectation of FFB Implementation? I use the G940 HOTAS and was wondering when FFB will be implemeted? Can we expect it in the next patch? I can be patient if I know that its being worked on. As a second thought, I wonder if there isn't a work around that would give a solid centering force on the stick even though the FFB isn't programmed in yet? Anyone possibly worked this out? I'm excited to fly but right now it is very unstable due to no tactile feel on the stick. Really just like a wet noodle.
  7. Luigi, That is true for early Mustang I/Ia. They did indeed have fabric covered control surfaces. The model in this sim is a late P51D which did have metal covered control surfaces.
  8. Manual mention of fabric covered rudder and elevators Just been reading through the manual and noticed that in the aircraft description section it stated: "The tail section is metal with fabric-covered elevator and rudder control surfaces." I believe this is in error. Both the rudder and elevators of the P51D were of metal construction with sheet aluminum covers.
