Let me tell you how bad it gets when the three score and ten are in your rear view. I gratefully accepted your suggestions Erich , especially as they were then backed up by JG14. Unfortunately, I still couldn't get things running correctly and that was because I was----- -----trying to install 'World' onto' World' and not A-10c onto 'World'--- -----and now you know what you have to look forward to. Sorry for the delay in responding but I have spent hours on this just to find out how stupid I have become! Thank you both for attempting to help me and sorry for wasting your time. Regards Mike

Hello , In an attempt to clean up the mess I have been making whilst attempting to get to grips with -at least a little bit of 'World', I decided to un-install and to begin over again with a fresh installation. Unfortunately I have found the A -10C and P51 contents in options>control to be completely missing. The SU25 component remains as it should.(maybe). I am asking for help in restoring this (game?) to a playable state -can someone advise me please and I would be most thankful if whosoever it is, takes acccount of the fact that my 70 year old brain has been truly tested by -particularly A-10C over recent weeks.
