  1. Just flew my first Su-25T mission in the "Georgia Oil War" stock campaign and I was overwhelmed by the number of targets on the ground. I didn't know which way to turn. When I was telling my computer to lock onto something it would lock all over the place, including targets behind me, at my 3 o'clock and so on. I was so distracted they shot me down quite easily. Can anybody recommend a methodical approach to this madness, especially joystick configuration? I have Saitek X52...
  2. The software is running just fine now, but I have frame rate slowdowns at low level in my Su-25T. This is especially bad when turning tightly. Which graphics settings should I address first? Check out my system specs.
  3. I think I solved the problem by installing the latest copy of DCS World. The missiles are performing reliably now! I've been using an ancient copy of DCS. Thanks for all the input though.
  4. I think they just go ballistic, a ballistic curve into the ground, without any changes in the azimuth due to wind...
  5. I assume it's from the DCS Multiplayer menu? You're not using HyperLobby or something, are you? I've tried to access multiplayer servers and found none. I'm downloading the latest copy of DCS b/c I was wondering if my outdated copy was the issue...
  6. Hmmm...that may be it. I will try to keep her more steady.
  7. What the heck? No idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm obtaining good locks on ground targets and I get what appears to be valid launch authorization. I fire and watch the Vikhr dropping onto the ground in front of the target. This baffles me a little because in my experience if the simulator believes you have a valid lock, it will let you launch. Otherwise if you're doing something wrong, the missile won't even leave the tube/rail. Any ideas?
  8. I'm having lots of problems with head tracking movement in this game, with the view snapping back and forth, out of control, especially when trying to look up above my head. The head tracking seems to have lots of blind spots and when you hit a blind spot, the game doesn't like it. Does anybody have tips or suggestions for setting up the darned TrackIR for this game?
