Graphical disturbance with GeForce FX 5900 XT

When I use mouselook, I get a "stuttering" image distortion. It resembles lagg, but also there is a problem with horizontal lines, like the image get´s "cut". Hard to explain. Is anyone else having this problem, or know how to adress it? My videocrad is as stated in topic a GeForce FX 5900 XT. I use Direct X 9c, and nVidia driver 78.01. CPU is AMD Athlon 300+, and I got 1gb RAM.
