  1. :no_sad::no_sad::no_sad: terrible news lads.... I'll never cope with this connection lol...... I think I still have the 1.2.? installation files somewhere.... then I 'll perhaps try to update through the updater from there..... though it will still take a long while....
  2. Hello I have DCS World with latest updates, and own Black Shark 2 , Warthog and Combined Arms Modules. I'm buying a new Laptop soon and would like to know what should I do to avoid downloading the whole 5 GBs of DCS World again. Can just copy and paste the whole DCS World folder to the new PC and then deactivate and reactivate the licenses from the current PC to the new Laptop to play there? Thanks
  3. Hello pardon my questions, it must be very noob, but I have installed DCS World with A-10c and Ka-50 both with many (9) licenses remaining each. If I get a new Laptop and want to have it installed there too can i have it installed on both machines at the same time? (even if of course not playing it at the same time lol). 2nd Question: if the PC where I have my DCS World and modules installed and activated crashed (for instance due to hard disk broken) and I have to reinstall windows without the chance to de-activate the licenses first is there any way to de-activate the licenses and then reactivate them on the same PC when the new operating system has been installed or in this case I must lose the licenses that was on the suddenly broken hard disk? Thanks guys and happy New Year
  4. Okey thanks for the quick reply. Now at least I know that my installation is not corrupted... So these "interactive" missions are the one made by an user called big foot who has a main thread in the relevant forum? And should they be installed manual i.e putting the miz file somewhere? Tx for the help mate
  5. Hello everybody. Until 2 days ago I had DCS World 1.2.1 and A-10C module running fine. Then I bought BS2 so I got a key downloaded the module installed it and registered my key. Then I tried to run the Training mission from the game menu but when I try to click start mission nothing happens. I also noticed that SU-25T now also has Training mission while before in 1.2.1 it had not but these ones also don't run if I click start mission. A-10C Training Mission instaed works fine as before. Now I searched the Forums and read that in the past there were problems related to these training missions and also read that perhaps these are not reallt interactive like in A-10C but only videos to download and integrate but I'm confused so I would kindly ask you to give me a quick tip to practice these mission without messing up the whole DCS system trying to install fixed or videos that could be updated or incompatible.... Cheers!
  6. Hello everybody I recently bought A-10C and I have the module running on DCS World, though I'm finding the learning curve so hard I like it a lot and it is exactly what I expected it to be. Now I'm not even halfway through the learning phase and I already wonder if KA-50 is another sim for me. But before that I have a question. Sometimes I see screenshots of the game where the cockpit instruments are labelled with english names others where it is in Russian, as in the real thing. Is it possible to set up the game with everything in English, cockpits radio voices HUD infos etc? Cos I know that it is not that realistic but these games are already so tough that facing a game where even just few info are in Russian is not a thing I'm ready to cope with.... Thanks again for the infos and congrats on these amazing products....
  7. Yes sorry MemphisBelle, at the moment I have a 4.2 MBit Internet Key but with a 5 GB Data per Month Cap. So big downloads are at the moment out of order not just cos of the Speed that anyway most of the time is much slower than the supposed one, but cos of that speed CAP. But I can still see if I find somebody I know kind enough to let me know this stuff, or wait till I get a fast home connection. TX everybody for your Help, it really looks like it's a very active and kind user Community.
  8. OK then maybe I ll buy the DVD one and if I like it I will then download the DCS World and Module when I have a faster connection..... And one more question please even if this is not the right Forum... Can you upgrade to Black Shark 2 from a DVD Copy of Black Shark 1 or again you need to download DCS World and Module first?
  9. So actually what does it happen if I buz the DVD version and install it from the DVD and not using the DCSWorld module? I get an older version or just doesn't it work anymore at all? Thanks anyway for your quick replies so far.
  10. Hello everybody I never considered buying DCS games before cos my PC was too old for them. Now with the new Desktop I'd like to give them a try, even if I'm not yet 100% sure that this genre is for me. A-10 sounds so good, but I have a question about the versions.... On Amazon I can buy a DVD version, and that would suit me cos my connection it's not so fast and recently bought a game from Origin that took around 1 week to download so I'0m quiet fed up with downloading. But it seems to me that the DVD Version are not updated any more, or at least the DCS World module seems to me with more recent updates and the only one that in the future will be further developed. So it has any sense to buy a DVD regional (German) version? As I said I'm not too much in the mood for downloading but if it is the only sensible option right now I'll than think about it in the near future.
