  1. I have the Saitek Combat Rudder pedals as well and can confirm that this is most definitely a real problem that I'm running into as well. The pedals are correctly read out in Windows' own properties dialog window no matter how fast I press and depress the pedals, but I'm usually left with sticky toebrakes when I don't release the toebrakes very gently in DCS. This issue sends me careening down the runway during take-offs and is making me look really bad to the other folks I'm flying with on-line! It's getting to the point I'm thinking of using the keyboard for my braking, differential braking be damned. Is there really no fix for it? I've tried with and without the Saitek drivers, and I've tried deleting the calibration from the registry too as per the instructions found in other threads. Bumping the saturation way up is not really a fix when the toebrake gets stuck halfway....
  2. The two sound files that are playing while the main menu (and mission editor) are open are found in the folder ..\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Sounds\EditorMusic. The files with a filename that ends with "In" are the intro sections, while the files that end with "Loop" are the sections that loop continually after the intro has played. You can either replace the P51-D MainMenuIn.ogg and P51-D MainMenuLoop.ogg files that are currently playing with your own music files (making sure you name those the exact same way as the files you're replacing), or you can go into ..\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Sounds\sdef and edit the me_music.sdef file to point to the new files you've added to the EditorMusic folder. I'm not entirely sure what the other settings in the me_music.sdef configuration file do, but I take it that "gain" controls the playback gain of your file, that "streaming" controls whether or not the files are completely loaded into memory, and that "listmode" controls in what manner the listed files are played. To get you started, a month or so ago I've taken the remixed P-51 music ED used for their DCS World trailer and cut them up so they could be looped. Here's the links to both files: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/89052184/P51-D%20MainMenuRemixIn.ogg https://dl.dropbox.com/u/89052184/P51-D%20MainMenuRemixLoop.ogg
