Well I bit the bullet and purchased it last night. So far I have learned the start-up procedure and basic flight controls. This game is (on simulation) unforgiving. Being so, makes it a blast! I now need to learn how to start up the TV and control my weapons system. The tutorial gave me no information on how to turn it on. In any case, I would say so far it looks like money well spent. If you have an extra 50 bucks, go for it.

Well that would depend on the buyer's financial situation. Some people can only afford to buy games on rare occasions. In that case we need to ask questions and make sure it's worth the cash.

Can anyone explain how the Starforce works? I have 10 installations correct? But do I get an installation back if I un-install the game? Lets say I install the game and go down to 9 installations.. I then need to format.. I uninstall the game so I am back up to 10 isntallations?

Hello Airway, thank you for the reply. I have a Intel Q6600 with an ATI 4870 (512 version) Also running on 4GB of 1066 memory. I ran Lock-on perfectly fine, so assuming it is the same engine.. I should be able to run Black Shark fine. I was just worried about getting into the game as I am a total "noob" when it comes to sims :)

I own Lock-on and I loved it for a long time. I recently learned of Black Shark and my interests are peaked. However, I am not experienced with a lot of sims NOR do I have a killer joystick. So my questions would be: Is this game user friendly? I totally respect realistic games I just would love a nice tutorial. Also, will I be able to enjoy the game with a Saitek Aviator (http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-Aviator-Throttle-Joystick-PS33/dp/B000I62PEK) Thanks!

hey guys, I bought Lock on (including flaming cliffs) in a retail box.. here is my setup: AMD 64+ 3800+ 6800 GT OC 2 gig ddr 3200 Audigy2 ZS When playing lomac I the sound cracks ALOT.. with engine sounds ect is there a fix for this? I havent seen anyone else having these issues on the forums.
