  1. As requested, based on our conversation on Facebook, the community requests a future upgrade to the DCS F18C to include a potentially paid upgrade, by adding the AN\AAQ-33 to the DCS F18C, thus creating an official CF-18 variant supported by DCS World by Eagle Dynamics: From the FB thread: From Me: DCS by Eagle Dynamics The current DCS model of the F/A-18C is, in my opinion, at least 90% representative of the CF-18. Following the completion of the Incremental Modernization Project (IMP) Phase II (around 2010–2012), the CF-18 fleet reached near-parity with the F/A-18C/D in terms of avionics, datalink, and targeting capabilities—albeit with some uniquely Canadian adaptations, such as the integration of the AN/AAQ-33 Sniper pod instead of the U.S. Navy’s ATFLIR. With that in mind, the addition of the AN/AAQ-33 targeting pod to DCS should be seriously considered, particularly to enhance immersion for your substantial Canadian and RCAF-following player base. You are the dream makers, and we—the community—are your partners in shaping this experience, not only by voicing our feedback but also by supporting your work through the purchase of modules. There is an apparent demand for Sniper pod support on the F/A-18C, and Eagle Dynamics should give this request genuine consideration. Given that the F-35A is being introduced into DCS despite significantly less public documentation, it is well within the realm of possibility to implement the AN/AAQ-33 on the Hornet in a future update. My suggestion: don’t dismiss the idea—it would be a meaningful addition for many in the community. Personally, I’d be happy to pay a modest fee for a CF-18-specific upgrade if necessary. Thank you. From DCS World by Eagle Dynamics: We are unclear what public RCAF Hornet documents you are referring to for such a version that includes operation of the AAQ-33 and other unique systems to the RCAF version. If you have such PUBLIC documents, kindly forward the public links to our community managers on our forum. Thanks. My Response: 1. 2. If you're located on the west coast of Canada/USA or don't mind the difference in time zone: we're casual, mature and chill. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2113693475405335
  3. I know it's likely been asked for before, I would like to reiterate and try to breath life however temporary into the topic once more. ED: To who it may concern, please implement a universal scratch pad that may be viewed and edited in the F10 Map, that can be recalled in the cockpit so Coords may be stored and entered manually by a pilot for navigation and preplanned entries. And or allow info on scratch pads to be imported into onboard nav computers. This ability would be greatly appreciated surely not just by this pilot but by many if not all pilots in DCS world. Thank you.
  4. Scud missles. Throw some scuds in!
  5. Hey all, i don't know if it is just something that hasn't been carried over, but something i am missing in DCS world is the CF-18 squadron paint from the Canadian list of Aircraft. Was able to select a couple different squadrons in the past but now all you get is an American paint job. Any word on if they will restore this? or where i go to request this be restored? In addition, Canada now has C17 globe masters. Would be nice to see the Canadian flag on these, and have them added to the Canadian aircraft list.
  6. Very exciting! I await the F15E.
