  1. So just to update everyone, I initiated the charge back for the cost of the software and my bank credited my account for the $39.00. This entire fiasco ended up costing me $130.00 as I returned the Thrustmaster HOTAS equipment to Amazon a month past the return date, as a result of the horrible customer support from Digital Combat Simulator. Word to the future people, do not buy the Thurstmaster equipment until you are able to get the DCS software working correctly, which could take four or more months, as you could lose a great deal of money. Shop carefully!
  2. I ended up giving up as I received a reply finally on about December 23rd, and I tried the two suggestions given and the problem still remained. It had taken two months as of the 23rd of December and the thing still did not work, so I sent back the Thrustmaster HOTAS assembly and incurred a $100.00 charge as a result of the support for the DCS software support people taking so long to reply to my problem each time, and I had to pay the $35.00 shipping charge to get the Thrustmaster back to the vendor. I have requested my money back from DCS, which was two weeks ago and I have still not heard from them, so I am going to initiate a charge back tomorrow as it appears they have no intent to refund the money for the A10 software. This entire support response is totally unacceptable as I have never had such poor service. The sad thing about all of this is that I had purchased the Thrustmaster HOTAS and the DCS software to get more familiar with the A10 as I am now working on the real A10 flight simulator. As one software engineer to another, that being myself to DCS, your support is horrible.
  3. So what did you do to rectify this problem as I am having this same kind of problem with the A10, but it does not like the serial number but eventually it lets me in? I had installed the A10 from DVD but than I un-installed that DVD, as I found out it would not work with the world application, so I sent the DVD back and purchased the A10 program from DCS and now I cannot get the serial number to work. Any ideas.
  4. I have the same problem, but it does not like the serial number I enter, but eventually it permits the application to be entered. They have some real problems with this serial number activation protocol.
  5. Yes I have used the serial number, and yet it still does not like the number.
  6. Hello, I have submitted two problem tickets, that being 17923 and 18048, but as of yet have heard nothing. The problem is that when I purchased the software I was sent an email and the email directed me to the web page for the old version of the A10 flight simulator. Needless to say I did not install that version, but I did install the newest version, but the serial number that came with the email will not work. I was able to see the correct serial on the DCS web site for one time only as I was able to enter that correct serial number one time, but when I went back into the simulator after running once, the application again asked for another serial number. I am unable to use the serial number that came with the email, and the serial number that was on the DCS web site under my login is now gone. This entire thing is very hokey. My problem tickets are nine days old and three days old. Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem may be? I am running the application on Windows 8. Every time I enter the application it asks me for a serial number, but the one I enter is not correct, as it so nicely lets me know every time.
