  1. Thanks for the helpful reply. I just got the hardcopy manual in the mail from lulu and I'm going to sit down and read it. I'm sure this game will take me years to figure out as I don't have a lot of free time. But, it will keep me off the streets. ;)
  2. I'm just starting out this sim and I have a couple of questions for mapping controls. I have the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog and the TrackIR5. First, under options and controls...there is a window to select A-10C Game or A-10C Sim in the upper left corner. I think it's labeled "Layer" or something like that. Which do I choose? What's the difference. I got the TrackIR to work and I re-mapped the trim hat back to trim as opposed to cockpit view. What should I map the "center view" (for the TrackIR) to? I thought I read in an earlier post that people were using the boat switch on the throttle. Is that the right one to use? Do you map it as going forward or aft? Or pushing it in? What about rudder? I would like to use the friction control knob at the top of the throttle quadrant but can't figure out how to map it. Thanks for the help.
  3. I'm not too sure about UHF "in game" since I just started playing this sim, but as far as real world... UHF is used by military aircraft to communicate with ATC because there isn't all the airline chatter on UHF like VHF. Of course, sometimes it's hard to get the ATC controllers to hear you because they monitor both VHF and UHF. Also, most comms to other aircraft and ground bases is on UHF.
