SUCCESS !!!!! The Steam-issued CD Key works with the standalone DCS World / A-10C Module... and am in \o/ Awesome news :D To whoever wanted to be kept updated - consider this that update =)

No, it don't work like that with this title... With A-10C, the DRM is a key-based activation, which (up til now) has been unavailable. You put the key in when the game starts for the first time. Fortunately, I have just checked my Steam account, and the CD Keys have been issued... so therefore you just click on CD Key on the Links column of the A-10C item in Steam, copypasta, and (hopefully) away you go..... trying it now... updates to follow.

Don't you worry - I'll be checking up on this hourly (while I'm awake) til this issue gets resolved... as soon as I find out, I'll post it here and on the steamcommunity.com forums for the title. o>

That's the thing.... it's getting hold of the CD Key that's proving to be a pain in the ass.... :cry:

Greetings ! Just a quick note... Steam recently had a sale of DCS:A-10C Warthog and it's popularity apparently has vastly outweighed demand of CD Keys through the Steam system... If anyone within the payments/activations department reads this, can you please check out the game title community forums on steam http://steamcommunity.com/app/61010/discussions/ to confirm this, and if possible, get in touch with Steam in order to get a supply of CD keys out to the newly-initiated/newly-disappointed playerbase who haven't actually been able to play the game that they paid for... In addition, it seems that the version on Steam is v1.1.1.1 and not the DCS World/A-10 module setup, which would be preferrable if it's possible =) I'll keep an eye on this thread, don't know if it's gonna be looked at/commented on, but I can live in hope.
