  1. oh darn, forgot to mention this problem is in x52 SST, not DCS itself
  2. need help. the macros ive set up on the 2 throttle hatswitch keep messing up weirdly. im not sure how but they keep swapping/overwriting each other O_o like i have my coolie switch set up on the index hatswitch and the CMS set on the thumb hatswitch. i went for some training and both had turned back to my camera controls. the coolie hat macros werent even in the list anymore and the CMS macros had changed to the camera ones. weirder even, after i reprogrammed the coolie hat macros, the CMS one had disapeared and the thumb hatswitch was now programmed with the coolie hat macros O_o it happened twice now, i have no clue whats going on. help  edit : my problem is in the x52 SST, not DCS proper
  3. is there a mode or a mission where i can just take my A-10 from the hangar and from there simply taxi, take-off and fly without having to worry about anything ?
  4. ooooh i see. okay yeah makes more sense
  5. im worried myself, someone on the steam forum said he has had that problem for over 2 months D: i hope he's not saying the truth. i feel like i should just get that module here right now and just sell the steam CD whenever ill get it :/
  6. alright, well id like to thank everyone for the help, im all set now. i must admit that the sukhoi was just a freebie for me, i informed myself mostly in anticipation for the A-10, so i was mostly clueless as to how to read the sukhoi's HUD most of the time, that didint helped. now its mostly optional but anyone using the x52 pro could tell me, am i better to directly keybind in the simulator or should i keybind with the saitek SST ? im asking mostly because im losing on the mode selector on the x52 with the former, but the latter might get complicated if i mess with it too much
  7. what ? and err...how's that suppose to work ? because...you know, if you press that button, it does what it was intended to do. how can i use it in the game or to even program my x52 since pressing it will open the start menu ? and while im at it, does that mean RWin is the button next to Alt Gr that equals a right-click ? edit : also, im still looking for that axis curve setting
  8. so the axis curve thing, i'll find that in the simulator option right ? not in the x52 software ? (edit : where do you find the axis curve thingy ?) also, little sideline question. in the A-10 keybinding list, i found something like this LCtrl+LWin+P i understand that it means a combination of keypress including left control and P, but what does LWin means ?
  9. it was a self-made mission with basicly an empty sukhoi at a random airbase with 100% clear sky and no wind. the goal was just to do a quick take-off and fly-by to inaugurate my new x52pro. absolutely nothing was keybinded, it was just the throttle, the joystick and the POV hatswitch. thats it and the calibration screen shows everything as normal :/ so i guess its just me ? but controls were so extreme, any sort of calculated, delicate manoeuver was impossible :S
  10. lets make it quick, basicly i just got DCS world, tried to do a quick fly (su-25t) to try my newly bought saitek x52 pro and encountered 2 problem. #1 : the plane slowly but steadily kept raising its nose as if i was pulling on the joystick even tho i wasent touching the stick at all. i partially know about the concept of "trimming" so i think thats just what the problem might be #2 : controlling the plane was insaly chaotic, slightly turning the rudder left for example quickly made the plane roll on the left and slight pull of the joystick even more than a little nudge made the plane go out of control. banking on the left and pulling to do a slight controlled turn is impossible. im aware i have no experience at all, but im wondering, am i just really missing experience and lack knowledge on how these things work or is it my x52 thats faulty ? its kinda hard/confusing to say because the reactions when i move the stick are so extreme :/ (be considerate please, i know im a newb, but im just worried because the problem could be either reasons and the x52 was a big investment and, assuming im the problem, i really am dedicated to learn how to pilot properly with the right gear)
