Hi all,
I recently started playing LOMAC Flaming Cliffs v1.12b on my windows xp system. I began the A-10 campaign (the campaign that originally came with lock on). I easy made it past the first mission and returned to a debriefing screen where I closed out and began the next mission in the campaign. The next mission I found more difficult so once I had made it to the target area I hit "ESC" and then save. That way I don't have to fly that entire area when I replay that mission. After 3 or 4 tries I finally made it past the second mission. Again, I was back at a debriefing screen; I closed out and the 3rd mission was listed with the first 2 missions having checks next to them. I closed out of lockon. The next time I went back into the game and opened my campaign (click Campaign from opening screen and then open the A-10 campaign), it only shows the first mission as being completed and shows the 2nd mission as my current mission. I reloaded my saved state from the 2nd mission, beat the 2nd mission again, once I was back at the screen that displayed the 3rd mission I hit the "save" icon at the top of the screen, played the 3rd mission, beat it, then started the 4th mission. I did not complete the 4th mission and closed lock on. The next time I opened lock on and brought up my A-10 campaign, it again only showed the first mission as being completed and acted like I was on the second mission! Has anyone seen this before? Is there a fix or workaround for this? Also, I did try saving during other states during mission 2, but got a save error. I wonder if this is related to my problem? Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated!
