If you have an additional video card in your laptop, then you most likely need to setup a profile in the GPU's config to run the game using the dedicated GPU instead of the Intel HD graphics. For example, I had the same problem running A-10 with my laptop (Lenovo Y580) initially until I setup a profile in Nvidia Control Panel pointing to the A-10 exe's.
This then brings up the question: what laptop do you have? I can share my Nvidia profile if you have an nvidia card, but can't help you if you have an ATI one. Still should be fairly simple to setup.
