I am new to the flight sim genre and trying to set up my joystick before first takeoff.
My joystick has 8 buttons on the base and 4 on the stick. Through the joystick software the buttons can be set to 3 different profiles via a selector switch, effectively giving me 3x12 = 36 Buttons to assign. The stick also has dual throttle and rudder control.
What are the most used buttons I should start assigning first?
I was thinking maybe the buttons you actually use in-flight are most important, since the start-up stuff can be easily done by mouse and/or keyboard.
It'd be great if some of the experienced pilots could give me advice on what functions to assign, aka which functions are most often used.
