Thanks Yurgon and Ziptie, I was never logged in and while I could see tank killer version, I couldn't see the upgrade. Who knew... well, I didn't. Thank you for your help!
-
I can't for the life of me find the upgrade to A-10C 2 in the ED shop, only on steam. But as I don't have a steam key for this aircraft, I'm kinda fishing behind the net. Does anyone have a direct link to this module or can tell me where/how to find it?? Thanks!!

Thrustmaster Warthog stick - using it without Track IR
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Unfortunately, my X52 is not fine :(. The stick won't move smoothly anymore, lube won't help as it's a shortcoming in the base plate upon which the springs rest. Thank you guys for confirming the above, at least now I know it's a buy that I can actually work with. As it's pricey enough, a possible track ir has to wait. -
Hi all, I'm thinking of buying a new stick to replace my X52 Pro, and of course one looks at the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS. One question, as I've never used Track IR or something similar, I still use an 8 way pov switch to control my camera and look around. Can you use the grey button on the stick for camera control? I was told that the grey POV switch only has 4 programmable buttons (North, E, S, W), but I find that difficult to believe. There would have to be a way to program the buttons in between (NE, SE, SW, NW)?! Anyone any experience with this? Thanks!

Yeah... that's it... now I remember. Thanks! -
Saitek smart technology keystroke 'malfunction'
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
To add to this, it's with most buttons if not all. I flip a toggle button and it inputs that command 5-10 times in a second. I just want it to activate once... -
Hi there, After a long time, I decided to remove the dust from my x52 pro and start flying again. Alas, the software has other things in mind. The problem I'm currently having is that some profiles don't work as they used to. The buttons are still the same, so is the game itself (no fresh install since). For instance, I want to trim my Ka-50, using the T on the keyboard works fine. You press (and hold) it, you hear a tick ingame (the trim button) and you can set your trim, let go of T and it is trimmed how you want it. Now, when I use my joystick A button, which in SST is linked to T, I press and hold it. Only, instead of hearing one tick ingame, it keeps on ticking untill I let it go, making continuous trim adjustments instead of being able to hold it. If you use the test profile function, you'll see this when you press T on the keyboard: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. That is good, that's how I want to see it! Only when using my joystick, i get this: TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT Does anyone know how I can change this command? I've tried advanced commands, macro's... every option I can think of. Worst thing is, a buddy of mine is using my profile, doesn't have the issue at all. Perhaps different versions have different effects? Cheers!

Thank you for that headsup, alas, I can't make that. Any other missions happening on a regular basis? Or maybe just a server that usually draws quite a few people in?
-
And it is! :)

Hey guys, I was wondering, are there any specific servers (including days/times) that host large scale missions (10-20 players) on a coordinated level? Coordinated refers to a proper and realistic setup including teamspeak/ventrilo. Flying with up to 6 people is fun and all, but I can imagine this game only starts blooming with a integral setup for both planes, helo's and ground forces. Curious to the existing possibilities and potential future options.

X52 pro no longer functioning led/mfd intensity control
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Never mind, fixed it. Don't ask me how. It just worked out of the blue. -
Since I can't ask this question on the Saitek forum (doesnt allow new members), I'm hoping one of you can help me. I have an X52 pro with all the newest software/drivers, before i could see which profile I was running on the MFD screen, and i could adjust the intensity of the led lights and the mfd screen using the black rolling buttons on the throttle. Since my reinstall this is no longer possible, does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks!

Hmyeah, going for a new pc soon :) Quadcore 3.3 ghz,8 8gb ram and gigabyte radeon HD 7950 Windforce 3GB. Hope it will be able to handle it well enough :)
-
Yeah Tzeer... not everyone wants to/can invest 1500 euros into a computer :)

Admittedly, my PC isn't the newest one. But i do have a quadcore proc, 4gb memory and a Radeon 4890 videocard. I am also running the newest version that was released last week.

Hey all, I'm just wondering, me and a buddy of mine (new pc) both have an incredible framerate drop whenever one of us fires unguided missiles or drops a clusterbomb. Does anyone have a suggestion as how to prevent this (sometimes fatal) very annoying fps drop? Btw, is it just us or does the game have a tendency to random crashes to desktop?

If you want a sst profile that is ready to go, without TrackIR, and including a .doc with all the most prominent functions. PM me, I can send it to your mail.

China hat fw long moves to SPI and at the same time zoom out in TAD

China hat fw long moves to SPI and at the same time zoom out in TAD
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Nope, its just the toggle switch, so a normal button. Do explain the DX button command? This term is new to me. -
As the title suggests, I have a small annoying problem when flying and trying to use my SPI. The situation is as follows: On my left screen i have the TAD, the right one has the TGP. I have, for instance, WP4 selected and want my TGP to slave to it. So, I make the TGP my SOI, press and hold china hat fw (V) and it slaves to it. But, for some reason my TAD zooms out in the same instance, even though my the TGP screen is SOI. I have checked my profile for the x52 and the controls in the game, V only has one function and that is china hat fw. And for some reason it only does that when it's pressed for a longer period. Anyone have any clue?

X52 pro problem when using programming software
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Sure thing, you can download it here: http://www.speedyshare.com/ty2jv/printsheet.xps. Note that I don't have Track IR and that I still need to add some minor things -
X52 pro problem when using programming software
Boelie replied to Boelie's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
Thanks for the reactions, especially you Outlaw. If you had tried to make it any clearer it would've been transparant. I have everything working now, thanks for making that clip!!! Oh and Hunter, if you're interested, my profile has been made to resemble the original layout on the hotas of the A10. If you want it or need help, just pm me :) -
Hi all, after googling for quite a bit I'm still having some issues with my programming skills (or lack thereof). I have programmed most of the buttons, rotaries, sliders en hat switches, it just seems 1 thing doesn't want to listen. The ,./; buttons are used quite a bit, for instance for slewing. Now i want to have my trim on a hat switch and these are often CTRL ,./;. For some reason even if i enter both keys in the sst programming software, as i do with many other without issues, it keeps going for the underlying key. So in this case instead of CTRL , it is going for just , I have the same when binding my start engine (L Alt + Home) to a button. It just gets home because these have a function in the game (a10) itself. How can I have the game think im pressing L Alt and Home at the same time without it just getting Home? THanks for the effort!

Thank you all for the input. It's greatly helped decrease me getting shot down by anti air.

Thank you both for the information! Greatly appreciated. Though now I have 2 new questions, first what does SOP mean? Second, how the hell do you change your laser code selecter to a full 20 sec illumincation. This is completely new for me.
