  1. No option for warthog length at Pay Pal. Hi Zahry. I just ordered a warthog extension at paypal. There was no comment box shown to say what length I need. I need a 10cm length. Purchase was made at Date: 23 Jun 2014 Time: 15:15:01 AEST Shipping to Dee Why Australia. Could you please update my order? Thanks, Greg.
  2. I was thinking of cutting down mine too. A "how to" would be great. gb.
  3. I ordered a 14cm extension and in hindsight I think it is a bit long. The feel is just a little too vague. I would imagine 20cm would feel pretty loose with not much centring force. If I was to reorder I would go with 10cm. gb.
  4. Zahry, I intend to bolt mine down. I think plastic may not be up to the job especially at those narrow tab points. Maybe if the plastic disk came right out beyond the screw holes it would be stronger. Another problem with plastic is that it is obviously light weight. Most of the weight, and thus stability, of the Warthog is in that big metal base. Take that base off and I think you almost have to bolt it down to something. Originally I was thinking of just a weighty stainless steel disk say about 3mm or more thick and about 2cm greater diameter than the Warthog itself. It would just need predrilled holes to attach the Warthog and around the circumference about 10mm in from the edge. gb.
  5. Hi zahry. I'm definitely after one of these base plates. What are they made of and do you have a price yet? Thanks, gb.
  6. Zahry, how much are you loosing in replacement postages and what doubt are these problems creating about other products on the Simpit website? Surely it would be a simple matter to test each one you make to see that it actually works? gb.
  7. I am about to order. When I enter a length in the paypal comments is this the length of the cylindrical centre section of the extension or the total length of the extension or the exact amount of extension you will get after installation? Thanks, gb.
