  1. Wait, so why is this causing my throttle to go down? Everytime I move the mini joysticks on the gamepad it automatically pulls the throttle nearly fully down. When I go into controls throttle both up and throttle both down do not have an assigned key for the Gamepad. So how do I fix "controller axis conflict", Also thanks for the info on the Tutorials MadCow, I have downloaded them and I am going to start them now :D Thanks heaps for the help guys, really appreciate it :) EDIT: Hang on, should I be playing this through DCS World? I am running DCS A-10 through steam and I have a plain vanilla install with no additional content such as DCS World.
  2. Mate, I perfectly understand this is a Combat Flight Simulator, even though I have just started playing this with a Gamepad, I have been playing this for a few weeks and it's not like I just picked this up yesterday :)
  3. Thanks mate for this, will this help me learn how to play the game or will it help me with the gamepad and learning to use and fly with it? And yeah I have been trying to fly with the gamepad, it's working but it's extremly sensitive, too senstive too the point where it's too hard to use. I have been adjusting the curative, hopefully I can fix it. Also for some reason if I move the aircraft with the controller it brings my throttle down to nearly zero. Any ideas? Thanks
  4. I'm sorry, how do I set a curvature? EDIT: Nevermind I found it, I have pulled the bar to 20 for curvature for all pitch, role and rudder
  5. This is the one I have: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-WingMan-Cordless-Rumblepad-2-4/dp/B00005USQA It is old yeah, but it's got dual analog mini-sticks, so hopefully they will work - I think it will be better.
  6. I have a Logitech Gamepad, do you think I would be able to get the same results with that?
  7. Alrighty, first off Thanks for the all the responses guys, I appreciate the amount of people trying to help me out here. I have Attached the track file to this post. PLEASE Watch The Whole Track as I demonstrate the issues After I drop the first bomb, which takes approx 45 seconds. I did a 2 - 3 minute run on Instant Action - Easy - East Georgia - Spring. I don't do a whole lot of manoeuvring until after I drop my first bomb, but from before that you can see that there is a fair bit of beeping going on. After I dropped the bomb I began to attempt to show how sluggish the controls were, by both slightly and a bit more aggressively changing directions, with full power and half power. At the end I just kill myself so that the track isn't too long, not sure if I would've been able to just save it if I quit. Since I have made the track, I am going to try this now. Thanks for the info. Sorry I probably should've said this at the start, I am just using the arrowkeys on my keyboard. Would this be a problem and could this be the cause of the issue? New Track.trk
  8. I have changed to full power using the + key on the Numpad, still is pretty sluggish. What do you mean post a track? and how? And I don't think it's me "Manhandling" the vehicle much, I have watched videos and people are able to handle the vehicle much easier than I can WITHOUT warnings. Even if I handle the vehicle very delicately, like if I tilt the aircraft to the right or left just SLIGHTLY, if I go any faster than snail pace it will start beeping and the controls become sluggish, and I am turning the aircraft pretty slowly.
  9. Hey guys, So when I go into DCS A-10, and start an Instant Action game, whenever I try to maneuver the controls are extremely sluggish and when attempting to turn in different directions I have to battle with the aircraft to stabilise my directioning and altitude. I continuously get short continuous beeps and solid beeps, I think indicating near-stalling and stalling warnings. How can I fix this? I am guessing I need to change some options in the aircraft, but I am not sure what to do. It is extremely irritating when having to come around for another pass on ground targets, and overall annoying to fly. Thanks for the help.
