  1. Thank you L0op8ack,Awesome details! I believe the Jeff will be one of the best DCS moudule after EA. I 've other confusion about avionics these days. According to the public information from the website of PAC: "WMMC is a central computer for JF17 aircraft avionic system control and management. The basic tasks of WMMC are multiplex data bus communication management, mission planning and flight program management, fire control calculation, navigation assistance, audio alarming, integrated display managing (including digital map display control) and pilot interface control for avionics systems. " (https://pac.org.pk/avionic),WMMC undertakes Jeff's fire control calculation and audio alarming. In DCS,when I locked a target in INTC mode and switch off the AAP WMMC1 and 2, the MFDs is off but the target information is still on the HUD and the plane is still doing fire control calculation(shoot point,no-escape zone,etc) and audio alarming is still on. Is that a potential issue?
  2. After the latest 5.5.41962 update,the RDR power issue is fixed. The POD without AC is still work when pressed the CCD/IR OSB button. Anyway,Thanks DIS for the wonderful plane and great work!
  3. HI DIS group,I'm so pround of your excellent JF-17 which is best dcs module on my opinion. DIS NB! I'm very interested in aircraft systems because I think the systems simulation is very important for immersion. after I tried I find the simulation of Jeff's systems are really good.but I notice some potential bug in electrical system. Obviously the radar,sms and pod need AC power supply. when I switch OFF the AC GEN and DC GEN(if AC-GEN off line,can DC-GEN supply ac power by a invert?I'm no sure) ,the RDR page and TGP page are shown RDR OFF and POD OFF.but the locked target symbol is still on the HUD and the radar is still tracking the target in this case. For POD-OFF page,when press OSB button like SP/SLAV ,the POD get the power again and work fine. Hope fixed,thanks;)
  4. Hi guys. I'm a new mi-8 flyer.I used to fly huey. But when I fly the Hip,I found something very strange. Dissymmetry of lift effcet of mi-8 is to roll left,as the huey does. but how could it be? Logically,Mi-8's main rotor turns clockwise (top view) while Huey's turn Anti-Clock, so the retreating blade of Mi-8 is on the right.Dissymmetry of lift effcet should make the helicopter roll right. Is this a bug of FM? :huh:

  10. Hey everyone, I tested the fuel system today and found something interesting. The Huey carryed 5% fuel on the ground.10 min later, fuel is out. but when I turned the RH and LH FUEL PUMP curcuit breakers off ,the FUEL QTY indicator won't drop. In this situation, Huey is able to fly day and night with 5% fuel! A bug Obviously. Wish Belsimtek fix it soon.:smartass:

  12. Hello everybody, The manual 94 says: The Generator Disconnect switch has two positions: ON and OFF. When set to ON, the generator provides power to the electrical system when the speed is above approximately 1200 RPM. When set to OFF, generator power is not provided. All electrical equipment on the aircraft is powered by the generator, except the Remote-Indicator Compass, which derives power from the inverter. But in the sim when I switch off the battery and generator,the compass stops working. If the battery is off with the generator working,the compass still works. Can anyone explain it?

  16. Yes,what you said is right guy.But I think I should express my confusions more clear. In the game,When I cut two AC generators with the inverter ON,I noticed that Radar altimeter and Fuel quantity indicator is working because they were fed by AC reserve Bus,just as what manual 13-20 says .And then I turned the inverter OFF.AC reserve Buses were unpowered,but The DC emergency Buses were still fed.Then I saw that Radar altimeter and Fuel quantity indicator weren't running ,which is strange because accroding to manual 13-21 the two equipments can be also fed by The DC emergency Bus! I misunderstand the manual?
  17. But the electrical system diagram says that the inverter is connected to two AC reserve BUS. I can't understand that some AC equipments is on the DC bus. thank you anyway guy.
  18. Hi guys. there are something I can't understand about electrical system. Manual 13-20 (Emergency AC Power Supply) says: In case of main AC system failure, the AC consumers will be supplied by the static POS-500B inverter. This will transform the 27V DC of the batteries into 115V AC. The POS-500B inverter supplies the following consumers connected to the emergency bus:  Radar altimeter  Power plant‟s oil pressure switches  Fuel quantity indicator, G-load accelerometer, engines RPM and EGT indicators, and vibrations monitoring system  IFF equipment  Warning and indications systems  Audio tones for rotor RPM drop  Emergency instrument panels illumination but 13-21 (DC system): The following power consumers are supplied by the DC emergency buses (in case both generators and rectifiers fail):  POS-500B inverter to supply the AC consumers  Communication equipment: VHF radios, intercom  Radar altimeter  IFF responder Weapon control system  Power plant and hydraulic system indicators  Fuel quantity indicator, fuel pumps, and shut-off valves  PTS-25 inverter to supply the standby horizon  Lights  Pitot heating  Warning and indication systems and EKRAN system What confuse me is why some equipments(radar altimeter, fuel quantity indicator,etc) are supplied by AC and DC emergency system both? and in the game when I cut two AC generators and two batteries, I saw that radar altimeter,G-accelerometer and RPM indicators and so on were still running. Why? what equipments are on the DC reserve bus and AC reserve bus? I'm really looking forward to answers.:helpsmilie:
