some bad timing here,..just started a new job today,..will get diffcult to support the pics as it s difficult to find a date with the owner of the bo105..most time of the year he is on tour around europe doing technical inspections .. i send him a mail..as i didn t get him on the phone so far..we ll see)

i have to ask,..a friend on the local airport owns several of them...
will give short feedback ...problem more or less..
i have not a good sound captureing..could try my old minidiosc recorder..but can t promise anything...
but i yet have several shots from the collective, if needed i can share via pm or Skype!) or simplky build for you in 3d,..which program are you using?

me could help with 3d works and texturing..beside can have eyes to original parts near my home..

yeah Köthen feels good meanwhile..i think i placed 400000K objects between Köthen and Halle Saale!) and am working on objects like hospital köthen and several landmarks...it feels more and more real and living..
it took me away from DCS since it s release..

sadly, aircraft conversion isn t possible,..the truth is, developer needs to do the whole coding from scratch in a complete different process..sure without building the 3d modell and textures but actually i only see carenado is doing this way with danklaue together as alabeo too,..we hopefully can see some more devs joining the multiproduct route..offering both variants..xplane and FSX or P3D,..unless you will have to pay both variants if you want to use the product in both sims..
The complete flight model and systems work is to be redone in a complete different process..
yeah and see the AS350 conversion,,Dreamfoil did with Nemeth designs beautifull AS350,.. the whole flight model is done completely new,..animations are completely new,..and by far, it is not comparable to FSX version anylonger^^
For scenery,..it is somehow different,..
the tool FSX2XP..is doing a good job..but it depends on source quality from FSX content,..there is a list in Xorg,..which content does convert without much trouble.. and for me some FSX devs are actually converting FSX content to sell it as new, into Xplane..sadly...
but as the tools just got updated again..we seriously have the most powerfull tools palette and possibilites..to produce our hometowns in HQ ourselfs,.. see attached my hometown!=)

as my progress slowed down a little for christmas and new years celebration, i am working on pre-release version..it s difficult to explain..but i have to optimize the objects management..as it could beat some rigs down with this high number of objects..so the users have some ..options,..to optimize there flight impression..
i a working hard to bring the project into betastage within january..

and yea the AS 350.. will blast our minds in response and fidelity,for an civillian helicopter simulation..but it won t get released as quick as told in t he past. as things moved to slow with 10.20 from laminar research and this slows down 3rd party developments in different points, i m scared but patient until the beauty will be available..

get the brandnew FlyJSim 727 in highest fidelity..or the CRJ200, or B777, or Carenados for GA, there are even plenty upcoming new projects and if you follow the community activites you can see these options^^..and even the freeware Airbus, or the pyware NEO one..show me one helicopter in FSX beating Xplane helicopters, especially dreamfoils r22, b206 and the upcoming AS350 have realistic flight dynamics, or the ND BK117! xplane stands for a flight experience better then any FSX copter nor a Dodosim provided.
beside aspects, there is none support for a bad coded simulator, with XP10, you have the choice using release candidate or have a second betat install and be a betapilot to change the problems by reporting!
i banned my FSX since the first day of Xplane 10! no way back, nor to P3D.
DCS is the only candidate i am following beside xplane..

please, it s an Xplane thread and not an FSX thread,..it s your choice,and as it isn t supported since a while, FSX isn t the top of the civ sims anymore!=)..but back to topic, otherwise then FSX comunity..many people work on many places to bring more realism to scenery for airports and landscape..as you told..there are already 8 DVD within the package..for a global scenery..plausible in some pplaces..and less in others..but morst airfields kept empty. as told above the comunity builds, and provides airport packages in different qualities..most collected in the Xplane.org. you can grab what you need..to not have an overloaded installation...latest releases and the huge steps forward with latest betas..show the raising possibilities in xplane..
and you can get VFR UK scenery aswell for xplane in the eshops!)
