Good people of interwebs, Can anyone give me details on how the wind profile data that the IFFCC estimates gets calculated - specifically what instruments feed the IFFCC, and how they estimate things down range and how it gets sent to the CDU (what rate, etc.)... Any details or references would be greatly appreciated!

Just getting into this - can anyone tell me the difference between what is displayed on the ADI/HSI between STR PT and ANCHR point selection on the NMSP. What is specifically displayed on the flight instrumentation. And TCN? Thanks
