I am having an issue configuring the controls for slewing the TV cameras of the various aircraft within DCS World.
I would like to use my joystick's 8-way POV hat switch to slew. Unfortunately, there are only four options, which severely limits my ability to track a target, especially if I need to react quickly; I can only slew the camera along one cardinal axis at a time, i.e., UP or DOWN or LEFT or RIGHT:

However, I know it is possible to slew along multiple axes simultaneously. First, because this type of multi-axis ability is available for the general cockpit view:

and secondly, because there is the option to assign the actual to slew controls to real axes:

So, I know it is possible to get a POV hat to move a camera in multiple axes simultaneously. Why can't it work with the targeting cameras? Is there a trick to assigning the controls to work this way, or is it simply an unimplemented feature (intentional or unintentional)? Any help, suggestions, or information would be greatly appreciated! :pilotfly:
Thanks,
