  1. Joystick Jitters Blaze: My system specks are as follows: 3.0 Intel CPU, Asus P4P800-SE MB, 2 Gig DDR memory, GeForce 3 Vid card. I was trying to set up everything using a training mission before I ventured into a regular mission or campaign. It just seems that the stick is so sensitive that a small input puts me way out of control. Grumps & Shotsx74: Ok, in the options/input/device setup, I finally got my Cougar throttle to work. I changed the smoothing to zero as you suggested, but still have the same jumping around. What about the "Shift", "D-zone", and "Curve", where should these be set at? Redeye & Zorlac: Will try to check auto-pilot, altitude hold, and the speed hold, if I knew where to check these once in the training mission. I hope that all these things will slow down the jumps and yips that I have encountered in this sim. Thanks for all the help, and I will keep everyone posted on my results. If you have any more suggestions, please feel free to give me a shout. Thanks again for all the help. This OLD guy can sure use it..:megalol:
  2. Hi: New to Lock-on. I have a Cougar Hotas and am having difficulties getting a smooth action when flying lock-on. When I move my stick the plane simply jumps either up or down and also sideways. Even with very small inputs, nothing happens, then all of a sudden, I'm up the ladder 20 degrees or more. :helpsmilie: I have used this Cougar in other sims and have not had this trouble before. Their is a place in the Cougar Control Panel to change the shape of the Axis Shaping. I also see that Lomac has something similar, but when I try to change the Axis Shaping in Lomac it doesn't seem to make any difference. Another thought: Having the Cougar, are the movements of the Joystck controled by the Cougar Control Panel, or the Lock-on sim. Does one over-ride the other as to the smooth control of the Joystick. Thanks in advance for any help to fix this problem C-Jester out. :pilotfly:
