    Track IR screwing up

    AARG! Ok, sorry, i copied the text into notepad and saved it as a .xml. It worked. but when i went back to make the axies linear, i could not only pan horizontaly. not vertically and no zoom.

     

    any idea what's going on here? does anyone have a profile with linear axies that works with CAW and CAW Carrier ops?

    I just downloaded and finaly figured out the correct way to install the Crimean air wars patch. (which , after only 2-3 minuits of play, discovered i really liked.) however, when i go to use Track IR, I must push the 5 key on the # pad to center it, (not the F12 key!) what kore, it now I can only tilt my head up and down, not left and right and zoom is reversed.

     

    Any advise? i have already tried deleating the Track IR file in the config folder.

    I have purtchused a Track IR 4. I have not attempted to use it yet because i remember that you have to delete a file in the lockon folder. i cannot find the post that mentioned that. could some one tell me which file to delete? (or post a link?)

     

    I would also like to know which axis in the programing menu is for zoom? or should i just leave every axis checked for use.

    Ya, but i just wan't the F/A-18 with a hook. it would be SOOOO much fun.

     

    awsome about the A2G though, that will be fun.

     

    I have made a backup copy on a second hard drive which i plan to screw arround with.

     

    Can you have more than one F-18 mod? or just one for the C model and another for the A model?

    Just tell me how to get the mods from Lockon files and how to instal them thru modman.

    Would copying the ubisoft folder to a seporate hard drive solve all of the black shark and online problems? I would install all of the mods to one or the other copies. would this be a good idea?

    Ok, jees,

     

    Mine is in english, just the words in the illistrations are in french. kinda confusing.

     

    Now how do you use modman with LockonFiles? looks like they have some great stuf over there.

     

    Online play will still work fine so long as i just don't play with the F/A-18 or it's weapons Right? sorry, i'm tring to keep everything strait here. Again, i'm an idiot. :doh:

    :doh: Oh sorry i didn't mention that earlyer.

     

    i know i can't actually make the F/A-18 flyable. it will just be another FM.

    I downloaded Mod Man5. don't understand it though. (as half of the instructions are in french.)

     

    and will simply having the F/A-18 harm online play. (or my reputation so long as i don't use it?)

     

    Is there a feature in Mod Man that will allow you to remove all mods ever instaled? just incase there is a problem with black shark?

    I have never actually understood the mods.

     

    I would like to make the F/A-18 flyable.

    but, i have a few questions.

    1. how do i do this?

    2. do mods interfear with online play?

    3. will this harm the instilation of black shark when i comes out.

    4. can i have the F-15 cockpit/flight model, but with an arestor hook. if not, can i have the su-33 FM at all?

    5. will i be able to uses only the american weapons on it as i should?

    6. will the language be in english, not in russian?

    Crisp movements

    ok, where is this "smooth movements thing. i can't find it.

     

    and has anyone actually flown a fighter, 'cause i wan't to know if this is realistic. (the excess roll.)

     

    as for lagging, here are my basic system specs.

     

    Dell Demension 2400

    Win: XP

    768Mb of ram (soon to get an other gig. so i'll have about a gig and a half at that point)

    Nvidia GeForce 5200 256mb of VRAM

    2.19gz processer

    40gig hard drive full. 250 gig nowhere close to full. lockon installed on 40gig.

     

    And where are these airshow videos. i'm interested.

    I'm new here, so exscuse my stupdity.

     

    In lockon, is it just my computer, or does the filght model lack the crisp movements of other sims. like, when i release the joystick in a roll, the plane roles another 20 degrees or so. is this righ? Is the computer lagging slightly? or is there a setting i need to change. many other videos i've seen show the really crisp rolls, but not for me, why?

     

    any info in this would be much apreciated, as it yould help my flying alot.
