  1. Thanks StrongHarm, I've just downloaded it.
  2. Special thanks to Blooze & everybody else for their input, I now understand the basics & have tested the profile I created plus one I downloaded - both work. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to use a few profiles created by others & maybe tweak one to suit myself. Once again many thanks, without your help I would have given up & mapped the profile within DCS & lost out on using the joystick to it's full potential.
  3. Many thanks for the quick reply. As you suggested I've deleted everything within the A10C category except the axis controls. Does this mean when I use a Saitek Profile I won't see any commands in the X52 Pro column within the DCS Options for A-10C?
  4. Hi all, first time I've posted a question in the forum so please bear with me. Over the years I've played Lock On & more recently FC3. I became fairly proficient flying the Su33 using the Saitek Cyborg & had no problem mapping buttons within DCS with this joystick. With DCS's recent sale I took advantage & purchased A-10C, to get the most out of this sim I decided to purchase Saitek's X52 Pro. This is where my problems start - I'm ok at mapping buttons within DCS, but as you probably know you can't use modes 1,2 & 3 which severely reduces the amount of buttons available. I've downloaded Saiteks SST Programming software & followed their instructions. I've created a couple of test profiles & have also downloaded other members profiles but cannot get the sim to recognise them. Not sure if I'm following the correct procedure but this is the path I follow - within DCS I select options, layer A-10C sim, click in the X52 Pro column & then select Load Profile. I can find the profiles I've created or downloaded by selecting "all files" but after clicking ok no new profile is loaded. Is the problem these profiles end with .pro rather than .lua? I've spent the last two weeks searching this forum & other web sites to see if anyone has had a similar problem, but to no avail. I'd be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
