I'm having a bit of trouble dropping bombs on tanks. Now, I know, they're not supposed to be pinpoint accurate weapons, but even using consent to release they seem to be falling way short of my target. It'd be close enough to take out soft targets, perhaps, but I'd like to be able to kill tanks with mk 82s with at least SOME degree of reliability.
Honestly, so far I've had most luck just diving at them and releasing 2 bombs manually even with an X through my pipper. I don't know why, but this incorrect method seems more accurate than the correct methods.
I've looked for tutorials on youtube, but most of them only go through the basics, such as setup and release. I'd like to have some idea of angle of attack, preferred height, the distance from the target at which the dive should commence for a given altitude, ripple quantity, ripple spacing and a general idea of what to do and what not to do.
TL;DR, I know how to release bombs, but I'd like tips for being as accurate as possible.
