[Steam DCS A10c warthog not registering]

I have the same problem. Actually if you look in the Product Activation part of the forum you will notice that many people have had that "hardware code" error from the Steam versions of A-10C warthog.

 

Since DCS World just came out on Steam I was hoping that would fix it but I then realized that the version I bought during the steam sale is not working as the DLC. But when I go to the DLC A-10C website on steam it tells me that I already own it. Dafuq.

 

How do I get the Steam version that I bought before the DLC stuff to work as DLC?

This company is such ****ing bull. It's obvious that many people are having the same exact problem. And absolutely no help. Just a forum moderator telling us to go to the same two links repetitively. I either want a new serial code that I can use to play the game that I BOUGHT or a ****ing refund because this is simply terrible.

Hey. I recently bought A-10C Warthog on Steam. I then downloaded DCS World and the A-10C Warthog module. But I'm having a pretty bad problem.

 

When I try to play the A-10C Warthog module it ask's me for my activation code (as expected) but when I enter the Steam CD Code that I got for the A-10C Warthog game it gives me an error saying this:

 

"Activation denied by server. Invalid Hardware Code. Make sure the Serial Number used is valid for the product you are trying to activate, generate a new Hardware Code and try again"

 

I'm not exactly sure what this means or what to do about it. Please help. I just wanna fly lol :(
