  1. Server will be back up at 1330 PST for those interested in the proper way to conduct CAS.
  2. Server's up!
  3. I'll have a server running (I verified it's showing on the multiplayer server list) at around 2300 PST after i get home from work). I have a simple mission built with multiple target locations to solely concentrate on CAS. I'll be passing your AO update and 9-lines. If you are unfamiliar I can help you out but it would help if you had basic understanding of the targeting pod and how to punch in MGRS coords. Server name will be "CAS training - I'll be the JTAC". I have A-10C and A-10A profiles set up.
  4. No prob, there will be other nights
  5. Sent in PM
  6. I re-made it "CAS Training - I'll be the JTAC" through the DCS client
  7. Hmm ok, I'm re-making it
  8. Pretty much I set up one general target area waypoint with multiple groups of vehicles spread out. As the JTAC I'll pass 9-lines and direct which group to strike.
  9. Sounds good. Let me know if you have problems connecting. I'm pretty sure I set it up correctly
  10. Back up and running for 2 hours
  11. Hello, I just started a multiplayer server named "Easy CAS Training - I'm the JTAC." If anyone wants some training or to have fun, I created a simple mission with 5 different target areas. I'm online right now and I can help you out. No teamspeak, but we can do this via the typing chat function in-game.
  12. Thanks Johnpilot. After a bit of digging around I found the aerodrome charts and it shows Batumi's azimuth there as 299 degrees. At least I have somewhere to look this up now! Many thanks.
  13. Thanks for the info. I'm used to seeing runways at 145 azimuth as rwy 14. But to be off by 1 degree it's not right. Especially when trying to line up for an ILS at a different airfield where you can't just line up on the runway to find the true azimuth. If it's a bug, then that's pretty annoying :x
  14. Hello, I've noticed when taking off from Batumi airfield rwy 31, if I want to set my HSI to match the runway heading, it's off by a degree. I have to set the HSI course to 300 to match when I'm pointing straight down the runway. Is this due to the magnetic variation not being set? How do I change this in the A-10? Thanks.
