Naturalpoint basically own the headtracking market for now and it shows. TrackIR is a cool product and everything, but the price is still kinda ridiculous for what it is and the limitations are fairly obvious. They don't seem to be interested in innovating either :\

Back up your data on an external drive, wipe the main drive, install OS, configure and restore files - done. Installation shouldnt take longer than half an hour, everything else is up to you.

Your BIOS might not recognize the CPU properly and tries to run it with the wrong presets. Check the retailers website for BIOS update instructions (and follow them carefully!).

Haswell-E and DDR4 aren't really worth it, personally I'd go with something like this: Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI CPU: i7-4790 Ram: Any bog-standard DDR3, 2*8gb sticks so you can upgrade later without an issue SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB GPU: EVGA GTX 970 PSU: Corsair RM or similar, 550W for single GPU, 750W for SLI If you want to overclock your cpu, get the i7-4790k version, but remember you'll need a proper custom cooler. Still, i7s are kinda overkill for gaming applications, so you can save some money and go with an i5. It's just a quick rundown from the top of my head, please check if these components work together properly before spending any money :)

Ivy-bridge is already succeeded by haswell, there’s no reason to buy older tech. 32gb ram is a bit excessive, unless you need it outside of gaming (for specific programming or video editing tasks, etc.). I hope they can find the time to make a promo trailer and get a release candidate out to reviewers. RockPaperShotgun does a weekly Sim-Feature and the people at GiantBomb have done a bunch of DCS Videos (mostly just breaking engines and crashing, but they have a huge audience). Can't hurt to try and get the word out :)
