Right now I am running an I5 2500k @ 3.3g, 6970 video card with three monitors. I seem to have a problem somewhere in the system. It doesn't matter if I have the graphics settings all the way up or all the way down, I am only getting about 7 FPS on a mission with any complexity at all. It runs ok on free flight missions and stuff but seems to have problems processing all the other units in a battle scenario. Any advice would be helpful as I have been dealing with this since I built this system over a year ago.

Does anyone have an opinion about how much better DCS runs with an I7 chip than an I5? I am thinking about an upgrade including processor and SSD, and any input/experience would be helpful.

I don't. However I don't have shadows set to high in the open beta either and the lights work fine. Its just really confusing.

Didn't help. almost 500 Mb of repairs and that wasn't one of them. lol

I am having issues with all my modules in DCS world. It seems like all the lighting such as landing/taxi lights, illumination flares, ect... isn't throwing out a visible light beam anymore. it works in DCS World beta but not in my original copy. Does anyone know what files control this so I can perhaps copy the good file from the beta and see if that helps or at least check that I am not missing files? Any help will be greatly appreciated as this is making night missions difficult!!

I am running DCS on an intel 1155 board with a I5 2500k quad core processor. three monitors ran with a xfx radeon HD6970, 16gb ram. I cant seem to get framerates of any better than 5 fps on UH1 and 14 fps on FC3 (on the ground). Does anyone have any ideas? And it doesn't help much to turn my settings down, maybe 4 fps. Also, when I ran the test with only one monitor, UH1 was still down around 12 fps.

I have mine set at 22.5° and love it. I basically am facing the corner with my middle display in front of me and the side displays mounted to the walls on either side. Hope this helps!

I am running three monitors on a single XFX Radeon 6970. I seem to have to run all my display settings on low or medium to keep FPS up high enough for the game to run smoothly. Does anyone have any tips on how to improve this?
