  1. Reverting to 1.2.5 is what I did. It worked for me. I did it a slightly different way than wot I found on the internet. Created a new shortcut from the "Update DCS World" link in the START menu, and edited the new shortcut's properties so that the Target box read: "G:\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update 1.2.5 ...but it'll be different for you depending on your install directory. Like I say, it worked for me, having Scenes on LOW is just too far a compromise!
  2. Havoc, you could try setting "Scenes" setting in graphics options to LOW - got it working again for me on 32bit Vista.
  3. After update to 1.2.6 my game stopped loading, crashing to desktop every time. Eventually tracked it down to two settings in the System Graphics options. Regardless of any other settings at all, if "Scenes" is set to anything higher than LOW, it will crash on launch. Shadows also needs to be set no higher than MEDIUM. I'm not sure about the Shadows setting, but I had my "Scenes" setting on high in 1.2.5 and it loaded fine. Wonder if anyone else running similar systems (32bit Vista, 4gig Ram, HD4890) have the same issues, and if these 'fixes' work for them?? Hope future updates will allow me to put the "Scenes" setting higher again, LOW is rubbish!
