  1. Well, don't fix everything, it is Russian, not everything works at all times! Lol

  3. Well the clamshell doors wouldn't be opened in flight, they have no actuators, and swing open and manually locked by a person on the ground. Sometimes the doors are removed completely for spec ops forces to fast rope to the ground.
  4. Shock links on main gear missing, nose gun, spotlight, floatation system!
  5. russian did studies back in the 50's and 60's to better their pilots abilities and take some stress away, it proved that in a stressfull combat situation, air blowing over the pilot's face calmed them down and they were much more apt to complete the mission and survive. as for the blue-green paint color on the panels, it proved that on long duration flights, the blue/green cockpit panels were easier and more pleasing to look at rather than grey or black panels. americans just pump air conditioning in, but only on newer helicopters...
