Zabuzard's post in [Resolved] Request: Weapon selector - NEXT was marked as the answer
CW is identical to NEXT in this case. These knobs are wrap-around knobs. CW, as well as CCW will wrap around for it.

Zabuzard's post in [No Bug] Button mapping Target Contrast switch missing? was marked as the answer
The weapons in DCS do not support changing contrast polarity yet (it is not about the video feed, it is about what the seeker head locks onto).
Binds will be added when the switch gets an actual functionality :)

Zabuzard's post in [Resolved] Multicrew controls have a noticeable 300-500ms lag. Makes it very hard to fly from the backseat. was marked as the answer
Thank you, this is known to us.
It is because, right now, the flight model remains being computed on the Pilots computer. That means, your WSO inouts are first send to the Pilot, then computed there and you then get the results send back to your machine as usual.
In the future, we plan on dynamically transferring the flight model over to the machine that is currently controlling the jet But this is quite complex on a technical side :)

Zabuzard's post in Degraded INS-alignment/See INS align. progress? was marked as the answer
There is no way to see how much the INS has aligned already (also not for the WSO).
If you mess up your alignment, the WSO has to turn off the INS Power Knob and the Navigation Panel Mode. Then you have to wait around 5 minutes for the gyros to fully spool down (no indication for that). Then make sure to have the proper own-aircraft position entered on the Nav Panel. At that point, you can re-start the alignment process by moving the Navigation Panel Mode to Standby and then the INS Power Knob up again.
Details in the manual.

Zabuzard's post in Where is the F-4 Autostart file? was marked as the answer
The autostart is programmed in C++, it is not accessible to modders.
It is far more complex than a simple list of clicks, many of its steos have complex conditions, such as waiting for a lamp to start blinking and similar :)

Zabuzard's post in F-4E Jester UI resolution was marked as the answer
As of now, the UI is rendered at 1920x1080 and then up/down-scaled based on your resolution. If you are playing at 4k, this means it is upscaled in hindsight, resulting in a slightly blurry picture.
We will eventually change it to render at other resolutions natively to get rid of this. Cheers

Zabuzard's post in [Resolved] Trim works on keyboard but not on joystick hat switch was marked as the answer
If it works via keyboard commands but not with your Joystick, it is possible that you have a bind conflict. Sometimes DCS auto-assigns certain actions, such as "view left/right/..." to these buttons. If you cant find the offender, it can help to press "Clear category" to kill all binds on that stick and then rebind yourself.

Unfortunate bug that had been introduced a few days before the build used by the Content Creator.
It has been fixed already

Zabuzard's post in Jester / Iceman was marked as the answer
There is no such function and at the moment it is also not planned. (Note that you can control the aircraft fully from the backseat as well)

Zabuzard's post in F-4E bombing modes real world usage? was marked as the answer
I personally can't really elaborate on real world usage; however, I can summarize the modes quickly to give an overview.
Lets start with the loft/toss modes. You got 4 of them:
* LOFT - toss your bomb at a lower pull angle forward.
* Timed Over The Shoulder - toss your bomb at a high pull angle (above 90°)
* Toss - the same, high angle. But this time you designate the target by clicking Bomb Button right above it, instead of over the IP
* TLADD - similar to Loft, but meant to be used from low level and with drogue weapons
Next, we have a set of more basic modes:
* Timed Level - you compute a timer for a preplanned alt/speed etc, fly over the IP, hit hit the button and the timer runs down. Keep flying straight and level, bombs go away.
* Direct - you hit the button and bombs go away immediate, simple. Could also be used for manual mil-bombing
* Offset - you enter the target on the computer by means of an offset to the IP. Once over the IP, press the button and the plane guides you towards the target and auto-releases.
Last but not least, your bread and butter methods of accurate bomb delivery: Variations of Dive Toss:
* Dive Toss - the classic. Dive, put nose on target, WSO "locks" the ground return. Pull up and auto-release
* TGT FIND: same as Dive Toss, but the target is designated by the Pave Spike TGP. This is probably the most flexible way. Put the TGP on target, hold bomb button and auto-release as soon as there's is a solution. Pretty much like CCRP
* DIVE LAYDOWN - like Dive Toss, but for high drag bombs. You pull out level and fly straight until ballistic solution
* LAYDOWN - like Dive Laydown, but without the dive. also for high drags. You precompute a certain mil setting based on alt/speed. Fly that profile level. Once the target is under the pipper, press and hold bomb button and keep flying straight, auto-release
Technically, with the Pave Spike, there is another backup bombing mode called "Release On Range". There, bombs release as soon as the measured slant range goes below a set range threshold.
In practice, most people will likely use Dive Toss and TGT FIND (if they have a Pave Spike), and Dive Laydown for high drag bombs.
The four toss modes are a lot of fun, but obviously fairly inaccurate.
Offset can be interesting if you have very bad visibility on the target area. Timed Level can be good if you drop a whole trail of bombs or cluster ammunition, as it allows you to just release level from high altitude with no visibility (above clouds).

Zabuzard's post in F-4E Cockpit Typeface? was marked as the answer
Fonts for what exactly? The panel/switch labels? Most of them are selfmade by our artists and differ per plane. They are created based on our scans and photos of the real jets.
If you watch the release trailer and check the pinned messages in our Discord channels (it has most of the pictures), you should find in-game shots of pretty much the entire Pilot cockpit already :)

Zabuzard's post in [Resolved] Keybinds for embedded manual not (always) working. was marked as the answer
It is when the manual still has keyboard focus. It will then suck up all inputs to allow you to use for example the search bar.
If you defocus the UI by clicking elsewhere in the game, it should work.
We are trying to improve this behavior soon though.
