I did what was written in the instructions for ACTIVATION window but it does not work. it keeps telling me my CD key is invalid or mistyped. I can't get my hardware code.

its not claiming an incorrect hardware code, i just don't know where my hardware code is? I thought I had it in there and i tried deactivating a cd key but it won't let me. I'm currently with support but they are taking forever to reply

I know, but i'm talking about the HARDWARE code, not CD key.

Where on earth can I find my hardware code? Am I missing something really simple? I can't find it anywhere? Let me know
