  1. Interesting. I assume its safe to say they want one to play the game with a joystick then or is that for trim purposes or something like that? Roll (right left arrows) do self-neutralize but not the pitch (up and down arrows) Which I find odd why that would be designed that way. Seems still like a config issue.
  2. The keyboard still does not self neutralize in pitch but the stick will when the keyboard command column is cleared while setting up the joystick. I will have to look into it further to see what is going on with the keyboard controls. I guess there may be a similar conflict going there like the joystick. Thanks again...saved X-mas lol
  3. IT WORKED! Thank you, clearing the keyboard commands worked for the joystick. The controls self neutralize now. I haven't tried the keyboard flight controls yet.
  4. hello. I'm new to this forum but I have been playing Eagle dynamics games since flanker 2.5. The problem I had back then with that game all those years ago is the exact same problem I'm currently having after purchasing lock on ( on a new computer with all new input equipment as well). What is happening is that no matter what input is used for control be it a saitek joystick or the keyboard the elevators stays stuck at a particular deflection and it is impossible to zero them out in a way that maintains anything remotely resembling normal flight. Any attempts to correct result in extremely violent pilot induced oscillations that make the game for me unplayable for any longer than two minutes. I have tried every possible configuration of joystick setting and have even tried several different keyboards but they all produce the same result as well in regards to the pitch. I can actually look at the aircraft and see the control surface stuck and it will not return to a neutral position after the original deflection. This does not occur in roll in which case I can make an input and visually see the control surface make a deflection and then promptly after taking my hand off the control I can physically see the control surface go back to a neutral position in this case the aileron. This does not occur in the elevators or canards as they will stay stuck at the position relative to the force put on the stick or keyboard. Essentially what seems to be happening would be equivalent to losing the "springs" on an actual aircraft control system. There is absolutely no way to know how to put the aircraft back into a neutral position after a deflection in pitch. I have tried every possible trim correction measure and always adjust the trim based on the given flying situation to no avail. The stick is essentially free in pitch movement but will self neutralize in roll. Again I have tried several different joysticks and keyboards with no combination being effective and have spent several hours reading different forum posts as well. I appreciate any help and appreciate your time in reading my SOS. Thank you very much and happy holidays
