Ive got a 2yo 4ghz pc using an Nvidia 4070ti! When the Sky is filled with planes in Combat, I get 7FPS which is beyond rediculous! When I fly the F14, a carrier deck with planes taking off , ships galore, helicopters taking off and several incoming flights of Migs with F-14's in Combat my FPS never drop below 40 and most of the times its pegged at 60fps! I have stiings maxed with the F14, Ultra clouds with fog and dust enabled! your F-4 module needs lots of work to get your frame rates up. Even with settings on minimum, the F-4 still yields atrocious frame rates! Ill stay flying the F-14 till you get the F-4 Module fixed! Sorry for the poor report on what otherwise can be a great addition to DCS!!! TIA ,Joe

ive repaired it several times, the f14 gives me no less than 50 fps! what would you suggest?

Yes I have, But Im waiting for a reasonable explanation why FPS will goto 7FPS at lower settings, than when I run the F-14 at Maxed out settings with the lowest FPS not dropping below 40FPS with a carrier deck full of planes taking off and dozens aircraft incoming with most in combat!!!!! I'm waiting for a rational explanation! i don't think the F-4 module is complete and full of memory leaks for the F-4 frames to be that bad!!!!!

Rediculous, The F-14 runs maxed out and my lowest FPS are around 40FPS on a deck full of planes and dozens of planes incoming! if your so smart, what settings are you running at. My PC is 4 years old and never have I seen lower frame rates than with the F-4!!!!!!

I have an Nvidia 4070ti! Every module runs great with every setting Maxed and a sky full of planes, up to 24! This F-4 Module gives me 7FPS which is a Big Joke! And this isn't funny, you've ruined the game! And I'm Using Multithread! Pleas fix it because this F-4 Module is rediculous to play! When I use the F-14 on a Carrier deck full of Planes, Ships, and up to 24 t0 30 planes, my min FPS would be 45 to 60! You all should be ashamed to release the F-4 module like this. And Ive got a 4ghz machine w 64 meg ram running the 4070ti. Fix it cause this a bad joke!!! With 2 flights of Mig21's and my flight of 4 F-4's yields 7FPS!!!!! What a freakin Joke!!!!! TIA Joe

Tim, Its easier to pause the game, Alt TAb to the desktop and plug the acronym into the browser! Plus Most Official Air-Force ,Navy sites have a premade list of acronyms ready to go!

I use a little app called JoyToKey! its wonderful and you can slow down the input of any button or Axis! the learning curve is vertical though!

You dive. gain speed and accelerate downward to escape the death spiral because the F-4 is basically a lead brick and much heavier than the period aircraft, pop chaff and and flare just in case they get a shot off, then zoom back up, hope he follows you, and use stick and rudder to come back down on him, get off an aim 9 heat seeker and he's finished! don't need a lock for the Aim-9 just a good tone!

Dear Heatblur, Thank you for this Excellent Module of the F-4, it Rivals the F-14! Buuuut please, as a formal request and for us visually challenged players, Can you please make the text on the bombing table contrast a lot more with the white background and make the cursor easier to see other than a pale yellow cross on a white background? I'm struggling to see the text and the cursor unless I get real up close to the screen!!! Thank you in Advance, From a very pleased Customer, Joe

Well, after a few hours, I discovered it was those SU-34 SFM mods that were ruining the F-4 Bombibg table! Now it works fine after deleting those SU-34 mods! Thanks for all the help!!!!

Oh Boy, its an Aircraft Mod! Not a VSN but some other one. this should be fun, Ive got about 100 aircraft mods! this is gonna take a while to pin down the culprit, lololol TIA

Yup, Definitely a Mod or Cache Problem! Ill put the mods back a little at a time and see which one breaks it! Thanks!

Ive got tons of Mods! Ill move them all and keep the Tech and Aircraft folders empty and give it a try! TIA
