Ah, I get it. So it was quite a simple problem after all! Looks like flying Russian is going to be a challenge. Too many years of Falcon have conditioned me to expect everything to work like an F-16... Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, Just bought Flaming Cliffs 3 on Steam and can't seem to get the Russian radars to work at all, even though the F-15 seems fine. Basically, for the Russian planes nothing shows up on the radar. Ever. It is definitely turned on and I have tried all the different modes. Even sitting 3 miles (or closer!) behind a friendly aircraft, with everything apparently set correctly, I get no return. I can see dots on the HUD for both friendly and enemy aircraft though. I've attached a couple of screens showing the problem. Is there something blindingly obvious I've missed? I've tried the manual and watching training videos but they don't seem to help. Another problem, that could be related, is that the vertical scanning mode never locks up anything automatically. I'm using Windows 8, could this be a problem? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, apologies if I've made a noob error!
