  3. Hi and thanks for the reply. I see your point and have just tried it. Yes the cockpit buttons can be clicked in single screen mode without the x52 plugged in, however nothing can be clicked in the cockpit or even on the pause menu in game when running on multi monitor..... The scroller zoom in doesn't work though... As for the profiler for the x52, it doesnt stay on long enough to do anything.. Even when trying to install the drivers, this comes up: I then plug the x52 in and it flashes on then off. Ive even tried installing drivers when the x52 is on (because DCS is running) but it just sits there doing nothing. Im using the standard DCS install with the stupid free russian figher jet, along with DLC of the Mustang, Huey and A10 Dan
  4. Ive just upgraded to windows 8.1 on a new machine and having general issues with the x52. Mine for example be it a usb 2.0 or 3.0 port its plugged into, will flash on immediately and then switch off which makes installing it hard! It then comes on whenever DCS is started. I have been into the device manager and told the usb ports to remain active at all times and not go onto standby.
  5. Hi all, New to the forum and new to DCS. I currently have a brand new gaming machine with 3 x 24" monitors, and the usual keyboard and mouse along with a probably tired x52 throttle and stick. DCS is installed through steam using steam DLC etc. Im having real issues setting up DCS on all the aircraft and general control problems and they are listed here: 1. I can run the game on 3 screens (very nice it is too), however should i try to quit the game using the ESC key, the buttons on the menu (quit, adjust controls etc) cannot be clicked with the mouse or even moved with the keyboard keys. In the case of a crash, i would have to ctrl+alt+delete to get back into the menu of the game...... 2. further to the above issue, when actually in game and on 3 screens, i cannot press on any buttons using the mouse inside the cockpit. (but i can on single screen) 3. whether on 3 screens or single screen, there seems to be no possible way to zoom into a particular switch or anywhere in the cockpit (i would have assumed it would have been the mouse scroll wheel) I have tried to tell the control setups to do this but it seems to ignore anything to do with the mouse) 4. Im having general issues setting up the game and assigning controls and curves and things like that. I think my x52 is a little worn out which may be having a negative impact on the game. 5. Theres a hell of a lot of options for assigning controls and functions to keys and stuff, is there some sort of description over what they actually do? i.e theres several options for view alone.... Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, however i really do need some help on the above issues. Dont suppose anybody lives near me whos able to help? Whitby, north yorkshire? Dan
