  1. Ah, so the light cone of the rotating beacon is actually modelled? That's amazing! And thanks about the LWS infos - the reset detail sounds like something that will actually kill me over and over again as I will allways forget it... ;) I love it! :) Felix
  2. Wow, great news about the new nav systems and very stunning screenshots! By the way, does anyone know where the red light on the side of the building comes from? It seems to far away for the left nav light. Also, could anyone in the know please go into detail on how the LWR works and what its lights indicate (if possible)? Yours, Felix
  3. There is also Vesna Vulović, a JAT stewardess that survived a 33000 feet fall when the tail of the DC-9 she was sitting in was ripped off by a bomb. There are a lot more stories like this then one would think - have a look at The Free Fall Research Page: http://www.greenharbor.com/fffolder/ffresearch.html This story sounds crazy: "Al Wilson was a barnstorming plane-changer (i.e., someone who would step from the wings of one plane to another in flight). One day over southern California, Wilson accidentally stepped off a wing into the air, without a parachute. A pilot named Frank Clarke was flying below and behind, and flew down toward the falling Wilson. Wilson crashed head-first into Clarke's Jenny biplane and stuck in the upper wing panel. Clarke landed the plane and Wilson emerged alive."
  4. The best thing is that there is even a jet version of the Cri Cri! :megalol: http://www.amtjets.com/gallery_real_plain.html Those engines are also used for RC models... Imagine showing up at an airline interview with thousands of hours of multi engine jet time...in a Cri Cri!
