Really? I'm very happy with mine - I find that either increasing the resolution slider in the Oculus software to the right, or increasing pixel density in DCS to at least 1.3, the image is nicely sharp. I also have DLSS/upscaling turned off since that makes the image blurry for me.

Also make sure the IPD dial on the headset is right for you.

I did all of that, plus you can clearly see screen door effect on this headset. I don't have problem reading what is in the cockpit, it is beyond the cockpit where the mess is, it is too blurry and shimmering. I cannot believe people actually enjoy this.

  2. I recently got the Quest 3 and my system isn't that bad.  I have i9 11000k with RTX 3080 and 64 GB RAM @ 3600 MHZ.  I did all the tweeking and downloaded occulus tray tool, openXR tools . Well after a months of trying to get out of this thing a reasonable quality at least close to 1080p nevermind 4k, I gave up. the image is blurry, too blurry I am afraid to ditch the flat screen. just not yet. I am about to return my Quest 3 back to amazon. Do you have any suggestions?

  3. I have always struggled how to re-acquire a target after I lose radar lock. This happens when I shot a missile, or he shot and I maneuver.  Are there any tips and tricks to this. The sky is massive, is he to your left, to your right, how high or low is he, the task is daunting. Any tips?

It was a while since I had to add someone to the Ignore list, almost tought that I had already filtered out all the rude or obnoxious forum users ... seems I was wrong. 👎

Well, I couldn't even run this one now without old version of DCS...

can you imagine buying something that will eventually be unplayable in the same game? unheard of before DCS

That's a part of the table from the manual for A-10C II (page 90). I think A-10C will be similar since the last update.

ok I don't find "CMS Depress" key at all, is this information still relevant?

  6. Howdy. I have come into a little money to splurge on new pc parts. current PC is a i5 8400 and gtx 1080 run DCS on a monitor maxed out 1440p with over 100fps no matter what mission I am flying. In vr it chugs quite badly on even small missions.....and I really like flying in VR. I am planning to upgrade to a i7 8700k and over clocking it to 5ghz(god willing) and pairing it with a RTX 2080super. I am hoping to stay on the same mother board which is why I am staying with 8thgen intel( I don't think I can go 9th gen on this mother board) would this be enough to get me to a constant 70fps in VR on decent settings ?

Well I don't play VR although I have tried in the past with Samsung Odyssey and I thought this was ridiculous and unacceptable in terms of quality and spotting enemies be it on the ground or in air. I continue flying in 2D. anyways my question is, how do you play in 1440p with everything maxed and at constants 70 FPS when I seem to have just about the same PC as you or even better and I cant max and still end up with low 50s. I have i7 4790k with RTX 2080 and 24 GB RAM 2400 MHZ speed and Samsung SSD

  7. Yeah it is happening while I'm still holding the HCU-half action and slewing around. I cant get it to mark a target because it will jump back to where I slew it from. Somebody is gotta have an answer for this
