I'm also having the same problems as virgo47 and many others here after updating my FC3 to FC2024. I also noticed in the list of active licenses in my profile I have two entries for each of the original FC3 aircraft - one dated probably when I originally bought it and another today when I ordered FC2024 MiG-29 Flaming Cliffs 08/05/2021 MiG-29 Flaming Cliffs 07/13/2024

had to re install the graphic card drivers again to fix it....

Thanks Design but I would think overheating is unlikely ....it only does it every time I go to the Encyclopedia screen. Its something to do with the graphics (card) settings I would guess. Overheating would crash it out over time anywhere in the game. I'll reinstall it all again ....and check if it does the same before I install Flaming Cliffs and the update. Any other ideas or other people come across this ?? Is direct X 9.0c working ok for other people ?? ta phuture

hi, I've just got Flaming Cliffs and put it on a reinstalled version of Lock On, followed by updating it all to 1.12a. I've not had chance to play in much at all and the game seems to run fine, but if I try and go to the Encyclopedia it loads the screen briefly before rebooting my machine. The model of the aircraft shown in the Encyclopedia screen looks partly drawn, semi transparent or something. I'm running Directx 9.0c with a geforce 4600Ti 128k on a 3ghz P4 and 2gig Ram. Any ideas ?? ta Phuture
