    DCS A-10C
  1. Lol, that was my original thoughts before I came here to ask. I guess the A-10 reflects way too much radar energy to have a chance of avoiding fighters. I'll just have to find some F-15 pilots I can trust
  2. I've been practicing with the AI in the mission editor and they enemy plane still manages to find and kill me after taking all the above steps.
  3. Thanks for all the advice, I guess I'll just have to secure a fighter escort everytime there are bandits in the area. Just one more question: Is there a way to lose a fighter that's pinging you at max range. I've tried hitting the weeds, jamming, beaming, and releasing chaff but they still manage to find me.
  4. Hello, everyone, I'm new to the forums here at ED. I've been playing DCS for at least 2 years, with at least one year in A-10C. I consider myself to be very proficient with the plane, I can almost fly any single player mission, complete my objectives, and return home. I've recently tried my hand at multiplayer and I can dodge and evade most things like SAMs, but enemy fighters are the death of me. No matter what I try, like flying less that 100ft from the ground and staying in the mountains, I manage to get pinged up by their radars. After that I'm dead meat, I try to beam and lose them, but they manage to keep on me and fire their missiles. And when they fire, I can't seem to shake the missiles, the R-77 is a deadly sucker... Is there any techniques to avoid detection from fighters? Is there a way to shake a fighter after he's pinged you on the RWR? What's the best evasive manuver if after all of this he manages to fire on you? Thanks
