  1. Hey all, I'm relatively new to the dcs world and so far really like it. However, I do have some questions regarding the campaign missions. I have flown the first campaign mission (Georgian oil war) probably upwards of 30 times now and still don't really get some aspects of the mission. First, the waypoints seem to be totally useless. The mission starts with the plane facing the opposite direction on the runway than waypoint 1... so if I were to try to fly to the waypoint I would have to take off, do a 180 degree turn, and fly to the waypoint. What's up with that? Should I go in pre-flight and move the waypoints? So far, I basically just completely ignore them because they seem so jacked up. When I first started flying the mission I was trying to follow the waypoints and would just get shot down as waypoints 3-7 take me directly into the line of fire. Am I missing something? Second, my wingman (and friendly AI in general) is also useless. When flying in for my first attack on target I order my wingman to attack ground targets. He says "OK" and proceeds to roll in like John Wayne and gets blown out of the sky. In the 30+ times i have flown the mission he has been shot down EVERY time. Again, am I missing something? Should I just keep him by my side and not do anything? Third, the ground units that I am supposed to be providing CAS for just keep on trucking no matter if enemy units are disabled or not. They literally blindly drive to their deaths. WTF? I can't kill stuff fast enough for them not to die. One last question.. My friend is learning to fly the su-25t also. Is it possible to play the campaign in multiplayer so he can be my wingman? Any advise would be appreciated!
