Hey people, been flying around some time now, the past couple of years reverted to VR and never looked back. Now, to the problem at hand. I have a relatively mid to low end system. Running an old i5 8600 3.6 with 40gigs ram and an RX580 8gigs. I run the 1st gen Oculus Rift (now Meta) VR headset. Given its limited capabilities, I was wondering if the purchase of a more modern headset would improve my visuals. With my current VR it is impossible to discern the letters on the Viper MFDs and panels unless I zoom. I would really like to be able to read them somewhat clearly. Keeping in mind that the pc setup cannot help much on that, would a change of headset to something like a Pico 4 help make things better? Would it also change performance to the worse? I understand that to experience the full immersion of a modern headset I need a new pc, but I would like to know if things would improve with a Pico 4 or sth Thanks in advance!

Greetings from Greece. For a while now, I have been trying to play a bit with the TARGET GUI compiler to make a simple configuration for the DCS A-10C, using the TM HOTAS COUGAR stick. Even though I followed all the relevant manual instructions, the profile I compiled was never shown in the game, even though in the event tester it seemed to work fine with the button/axis assignments. I run the script, open the game, open a mission on the Hog and...nothing happens, controls revert to default profile values. Obviously I am missing something and, being a nugget in this field, trying to sort this out through scattered info on the forum was like trying to fill a glass of water from a fire hydrant... So, any additional info, in plain words for someone that knows squat from scripting, would be enormously appreciated!
