Ive noticed this two, it may be an engine limitation but man it is one of those little things that drives me nuts when flying low and fast in a chopper. lol

I'm running on a GTX 560 Ti which is, most probably, worse than others experiencing the bug posted here. I don't have any issues with my TGP.
Seriously? whats your settings? Im running a 560ti 1gb with an i5 4670k and the milisecond I switch on FLIR or the MAV screen everything becomes Powerpoint (depending on the mission and amount of vics)
I was running a 650ti 2gb, but it died a few months back, and with 1.5 It feels smoother seems to run better than what I experienced in 1.2.x. excluding the FLIR issues stated previously.

One of the benefits I would personally Enjoy doing with this mode would be when a friend needs some training in a set of aircraft. I could set up the flyables. and spawn in the enemies as i see fit. he wants something basic? throw in a few Urals. want to evade some sams? I'll throw down some SA9s.
all without having to continuously shut down the server and edit the mission. and restart the server etc.
Not to mention, as many of you have already stated, it would add whole new levels to dynamic missions. Without the need for ALOT of scripting. Obviously, its goign to be lower on the priority list, but I think it would be a nice feature none-the-less.

Would it be possible in DCS2 to have a feature to create and edit missions on the fly in multiplayer? Similar to ArmA 3's ZUES? You could make it a slot that you can activate like game master and JTAC etc.
The reason behind this idea is so if you host a session with a friend you can create little scenarios on the fly without having to go into the editor. If you're familiar with ZUES from Arma 3 i don't really need to explain much.
What's everyone thoughts on this?

Ok, I've had the F86 in DCS For a wile. Today i was scrolling through the sale and i noticed something odd. All the modules i currently own state i have a key for them already, except the sabre. I have a purchase conformation in my account but apparently, no serial number?
I definitely had one before, i have it activated on the module manager and even now when i click show key it says No Key. (even though its been a few months)

I wasn't sure where to post this, and sence its a mix of a question and a problem i figured it can go here. if not, feel free to move this post to it appropriate area.
After the last update DCS has been asking me to activate modules apon entering Multiplayer servers. The problem is, its asking me to put in the product codes for aircraft I've already activated. I read somewhere that you only get so many "activations" will this use them up? Is there a bug with the product activation system right now?
Why would it be asking for the product codes for aircraft that i've had active for months?:helpsmilie:

Anyone got any killer SweetFX settings they'd like to share along side a screenshot?
I've just recently got into he whole DCS Modding section myself and if I can find something better than what I'm running, that would be amazing. If this isn't the right place for this thread, feel free to move it to its proper place.

I was woundering what was going on with my aircraft. I had just picked up the plane and when i was going to record some flying i kept killing my electrical power and my engine started acting up. I dont ever use the kneeboard so i mapped my recording key to ]. after some tinkering i found that was the problem.
The fix that worked for me is to just Unbind that ] key for the kneeboard.

I never understood that either. all these wonderfully complex aircraft but we don't have a feature as simple as a server filter. Maybe a MP System like FSX has where you can log in and still navigate the main load screen for settings and stuff would be nice.
Also, the option to ajust settings when in a MP Server would be great. I've logged into a few MP Servers post latest patch, only to find my throttle's were re-assigned and my FC3 jets went full AB after start-up.

Ive seen the MI-8 alot on YouTube, it would be amazing to be able to grab this for DCS! I could add it to my growing collection of DCS Modules!

Use Module Manager within DCS World to install any purchased modules. You need to log in to DCS servers through that manager and voila ;)

So today I literally just grabbed the Huey on and 190d9 and, for both, it wont let me install them.
I get the following error for both modules:
"Can't install FW-190D9 1.2.14.35513 into newer DCS World 1.2.14.35605
Please, download FW-190D9 1.2.14.35605 installer."
Obviously, its an older version, that i realized with the message, the problem is that I just downloaded it off the download page for the respected module less than 8minutes ago.
Are they going to update the files anytime soon?

Same thing for me. Its gone if i shoot it but if i need to jettison the weapons they do this. I've seen it on nearly every aircraft.
The big one I've seen is where, lets say you get hit and loose half a wing, the weapons would be floating where the wing once was.

These mods introduce new high resolution road textures to DCS A-10C.
There are 2 versions to choose from, the first is a new road surface and markings, the second is a used/worn surface and markings.
Installation is a little tricky, but instructions are provided within the mod packages.

Weird. now i don't seem to have a problem with it. it may come up again but who knows.
anyway, thanks for the replies. i just hope they come up with a fix for that RWR bug in case it comes up again.

Ok, so after being away from DCS for several days i recently returned and decided to see if it would work by tinkering around in the editor. And as of now all aircraft work fine. I can even fly the A10 and attack targets that don't effect the RWR or anything. as of now i think this does actually relate to that infamous A10A RWR bug i've been reading about.
I will get on the editor and test with and without anything that affects the RWR in a little bit. i do believe that is the suspect.
If it is, does anyone know a fix?

I know its overclocked but I've never touched it. the graphics card is how it came in the box. i dont see how that coulf be an issue anyway. like i said ive ran DCS perfectly fine for a wile then this just happened out of the blue.
I mean it worked 13hours earlier. i just turned it on and loaded a flight as normal and it just quit.

the RWR isn't the problem. at least i don't think it is. Just every time i load into a flight. the second I'm in the aircraft the game crashes into "DCS Has Stopped responding" and i get the same AppHangB1 error every time.
It started out of nowhere and now i cant even fly in DCS anymore

Ok, i've had DCS World for a wile and it always ran fine. I just recently got Flaming Cliffs 3 and have been enjoying the A10A. after months of perfectly working fun i encountered the following error yesterday and is persisting.

Problem occurs like this:
I Launch the game, do Create a fast mission, select the aircraft and click fly.
Before i hit fly i go to the mission planner to add a load-out on the A10 because it always set it default to Clean.
after i set the load out i exit the planner and click fly. it loads up to roughly 95% then goes "not responding" for a few seconds then im in he sim and ready to start flying.
This is where it starts.
Right after i load into the aircraft. roughly a second goes by (about enough time to hear the first beep from the warning systems (ie RWR) then it crashes indefinitely and doesn't recover and i get that error as posted above.
MY PC Specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel i54670k @3.5GHz
GPU: EVGA Nvidia geforce gtx 650ti boost
Motherboard: MSI Military class 4 Z87-G43
RAM: 8GB
PowerSupply: Corsair GS700
I've been running this game fine for months now and it just started to do this and i cant fly anything. period.
Operational Hangers and Hanger Doors?

As the title says, are there currently any Operational Hangers/hanger Doors at any of the Airports in the NTTR Map? Woulds something like this come sometime in the future?
There are a few hangers at Groom Lake which are double sided with taxiway markings leading through, I think it would be nice to be able to request ground crew to open/close hanger doors and such. (example, in front of hanger labeled Hanger D1, and requesting Ground crew to open Hanger D1)
Imagine spawning inside a hanger at groom lake in the A10C Opening the doors to a Nevada Sunrise ready to go kill some tanks. That would be sick.
