Log attached for the kick to main menu I had just now in 2.2, by overheating the engine.
After seizing the engine, it was approx 20-30 seconds before the kick.
Both logs for 1.5.8 & 2.2 were done in different multiplayer servers.
Hope this helps.

Log attached for the kick to main menu I had yesterday in 1.5.8 by overheating the engine.
Hope this helps.
Gonna fly now to see if I can get some more.

I can confirm a multiplayer kick is happening on 1.5.8.12823 and 2.2.0.12843.
It seems to be every time the spitfire engine is damaged, whether it be by bad engine management or from another aircraft's bullets, then 5-10 seconds later you get kicked from server to main menu, and possibly others with you.
Hope this helps.

Very tough to get a good sortie in with this issue. Hope it's fixed soon.

yes can we please get this sorted ED as it is making DCS unplayable for me as I am not interested in single player at all.+1
I've been experiencing the same problem, mass disconnects in multiplayer. I am flying on Normandy map.The problem is frequent and is stopping me enjoying multiplayer, I don't get a crash log, just booted back to the server list screen with everyone else.
Would be great if someone from ED could confirm they are at least aware of this problem - is anyone reading our posts?
Thanks

excellent .... no more F10 menu before starting Up
from 23 FPS to -> more than 45 constant
a BIG BRAVO
First of all, a great campaign, thanks.
This patch has gone in the right direction to make it playable but, with deferred shading on it still judders to much even though I am getting 50 fps.
However with deferred shading off I get a 15 fps increase and the game runs as smooth as silk.
I have noticed that the draw distance has been significantly reduced with deferred shading off.
Running at 2560 x 1440

Turned out to be a corrupt driver.

Hi Guys,
Just like to say, i'm loving Normandy, but I have a few problems.
When I try to open mission editor or host a mission on my server I get crash to desktop.
I have looked in the crash log file and it shows atidxx64.dll keeps crashing/stopping.
When I installed I did a fresh clean install. Version 1.5 still works ok btw.
I have updated/repaired the below.
Ati graphics drivers
VC++ redistrutable
Any help would be grateful.
Just as a side note I am running a server gfx card(ATI HD5450) for HDMI output as I use this machine as media centre/dcs server and I have turned all the graphics settings in game to either off or low.
Crash logs attached.

Couple of questions Eeks,
What is the upload and download speed of the Burning Skies Server?
and
How much RAM is installed in the Burning Skies Server machine?
-
The issues I had were;
Lag Spike every 20-30 seconds,
Stuttering when zooming in and zooming out.
Stuttering when looking around.
Force Feedback spiking.
I corrected all of these issues by simply doing a fresh install.
Now all is smooth.

Thanks for the Link, but it does not show in my profile list like other friends do. Link is now bookmarked. Thanks.

Backers Section has dis-appeared from my profile account on the DCS website.
Anyone help?

Got the campaign going last night, and I have to agree with Gandalf although I think we are gonna roll back to version 2.0.4 once the Viggen is in the official, as 2.05 is just way way too unstable. Last night I hosted the first mission for myself and two others. After 1.5 hrs, we gave up as one out of the three of us kept getting crash to desktops.
Many thanks though Mbot. Shame I cannot give the campaign a true review, but once I can I will give credit where it is due.
Question to anyone who has tried this in multiplayer in 2.0.4, is it stable in 2.0.4 and does the ATC work okay as in Gandalfs post?

Had you run the First mission.bat and set the number of players to four beforehand or did you need to edit it after doing that steo?
You have to edit the mission after running the .bat file.
I will try and do a test with the previous version of the alpha(2.04) and see if the new patch is causing the problem.

Any one know of a clean cockpit glass mod for the Dora?

When the Drag Chute is used, how do you re-load/re-arm the chute without re-spawning in a new aircraft?

As the title says, my Force Feedback just disappears(joystick goes floppy) at different times during any flight. Sometimes its after a few minutes and sometimes after 30mins.
It seems to coincide with the message on the screen "Track IR device disconnected" even when Track IR is sometimes still working.
Any one else experiencing this?

Thanks Doom.
Putting it on the ACG Dedicated Server for our Wednesday DCS Night.
All are welcome.

In my opinion, the amount of hours DavidRed spends tinkering with the DCS WII sides of things I would have thought that he would be a real benefit to ED to have him Alpha Testing.
Please Sith can you have a word??

Great work, David, +1!

No-one here has mentioned deferred shading setting and that scares me.
On three of my machines with varying specs The culprit for the stutters, long load times, random crashes and pauses is all down to the deferred shading setting.
I switch it on and the game is unplayable no matter what settings I reduce or switch off.
I switch it off and all is fine(apart from the micro-stutters that is)
