  1. Hi there! Every 10 seconds or so there is a significant stutter / freeze, meaning a breakdown of frames per seconds up to a half second. That is happening on all resultions, be it FHD or UHD with all quality settings minimum or maximum, vertical sync off or on. DCS.exe has all CPU cores at its disposal. Fresh DCS World and Modules install 2.5.2 (100+ GB download today...) Windows 10 latest build and updated, latest Nvidia drivers installed i7-4790K@4,7 GHZ and 16GB@2100MHz MSI GTX 1080OC Solid State Disks Just for the reocrds, BF5 runs buttery smooth in UHD with mid-quality settings... Any smart hint or answer apart from the standard stuff already posted in this forum very much appreciated. Cheers, :pilotfly:
  2. Thanks DigitalEngine, that is IT! The Beta Driver is much much better, full immersion! WoW! --> between 37 and 45 FPS (ceiling) for an 2000 ft Las Vegas pass over at Ultra Graphics settings ;-) So the GTX 1080 has some merit haha!
  3. Hello, just got my Vive and GTX 1080 upgrading a I7 4500 CPU 16GB RAM - so hardware should not be an issue. (And yes, the resolution of the VIVE overall isn't great). Got everything running and then - almost every second frame in DCS 1.5 and 2.0 gets dropped. Only on the simplest graphics setting it was every 5th frame dropped or so. Bad, actually no fun. Now taking PREAR3D and Flyinside with the VIVE as a reference point - all in ultra settings, with all possible filters enabled - almost no frame drop. Phantastic immersion. So is the DCS implementation just not up to par? Is the Ocolus implemenation better? When will it get better? ;-) Cheers
  4. Hi Forum, I am kind of suprised that there is no diff.lua profile for download into DCS 1.2.8 for the G940? I know, the Thrustmaster is much better, but the thing still works... Help appreciated!
