  1. Thanks for all the advice, folks! I think I'll start saving up for an X55 and a TrackIR5 setup. Any recommendations on rudder pedals?
  2. I've found the X55 Rhino for $200, and the TrackIR5 is $149, so that would definitely come in cheaper than $460 just for the TM Warthog. As long as there aren't a lot of issues with that HOTAS, I might lean in that direction. Anyone else have an opinion on what would be best suited to work with the games, and the TrackIR5? All opinions welcome, just please be specific about any issues you may've encountered with any of the 3 HOTAS.
  3. Hi! I bought Black Shark 2 and A-10C, and while my Logitech Extreme 3D PRO "kinda" works, it's definitely less than optimal. I've seen people recommending the TrackIR5, so I'm saving up for that. My question, though, is: If you had a TrackIR 5, what HOTAS would you pick? X-52 PRO, X-55 Rhino, or Thustmaster Warthog? I've seen more than a few threads mention the issues some folks have had with all three setups. Based on personal experience, what you experienced folks choose as the most reliable, trouble-free HOTAS setup to use with a TrackIR in a DCS sim? And an off topic question, is there a section on the forums where you an suggest ideas for games you'd like see DCS work on/release? I was talking with some people on another forums about the recent Dallas TX Air Races, and a few of up game up with a game idea that sounds like it would be great fun. There hasn't been a decent Air Race game in AGES, and we think the time would be perfect, and DCS has the requisite expertise to successfully pull it off.
  4. Has anyone here been able to successfully use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro with A-10C and/or Black Shark? The joystick is recognized in the control mapping screen, but I can't get it to let me map the buttons (or that wimpy throttle lever). I'd love to get a Thrustmaster Warthog, but $460 is out of my price range at the moment. I don't mind having to use the keyboard in conjunction with the joystick, but I'm having a difficult time getting the stick to work properly. I know the stick isn't faulty, since it works fine in DOSBox with Tie Fighter, Strike Commander, etc... Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, since the A-10 is my favorite plane of all time. Thank you in advance.
