what is going on with the lockon site guy's? anyone know why i have not been able to access the site for over a week now! i have been trying to look for black shark updates, but keep getting "the page cannot be displayed", they havent pulled the plug have they? Russ.

F-15!! funny you should say that as i tried out the su-33 and other jets including the F-15 and the heat blur showed just fine! so it must only work witrh certain planes then, as i only ever fly either the "frogfoot T" or the "Warthog" and they dont seem to show heat blur at all. Anyway, the FULL shadow option still does not work (plane is rendered all in shadow and lines apperar in the haze) so i have to use the full planar shadow option instead to correct those problems but then you dont get that fantastic level of reality. I really was hoping not to have to compromise after such a costly PC upgrade!

all ok? so you have a 8800GTS with the recent driver package and all is fine you say! just out of interest what operating system are you running? i am on XP professional service pack 2.

i have just recently posted about the problems i am having with stuttering scenery, now i have more problems. i am suffering with the known shadow issue (i have 8800GTS), but also the heat blur is not visible even when activated in the graphics menu. No heat blur at all! is this another nvidia driver issue, does anyone else have this issue? Bit pissed off now, as i have spent all this money on a new system to play this game to is full potential and i am having more problems now than when i was playing the game on my old socket A 3000+ and geforce 5200! crazy!!!

I have just built myself a new PC system, primarily so i can play games like LOFC with all settings to max and not worry about fps. the system specs are as follows. AMD dual core 4600+ ASUS M2N SLI Deluxe motherboard 2GB Kingston DDR2 667mhz RAM BFG NVIDIA 8800 GTS over clocked (550mhz) Thermaltake 550w power supply Windows XP professional service pack 2 This system kicks out fps of nearly 100 on games like F.E.A.R with all settings to max and 4X AA 16X AS 1600 1200. so lock on should not be having problems at all. In fact the problem is not frame rate at all, but more like a stuttering effect if you look at the ground when flying along, instead of smoothly passing by, it stutters by. I herd that there is a possible problem with dual core processors, do any of you know any more about this and any fixes.... Cheers, Russ

does anyone else have this problem? i have flaming cliffs (download version) patched to 1.12a, i have tried downloading and installing 1.12b patch but every time i try to install it says error code 3 and exits? also, the options menu for time and weather! how do you adjust the time of day the mission takes place, for me it is allways during the day, but i have seen in game footage on the net (you tube) of flying during sun sets and at night? also the weather options, for me the cloud thickness and density sliders do nothing. untill i have density rght up to 10 then it goes to really thick blanket of cloud, but put the slider to 9 and it is slight cloud cover and briliant sunshine, just the same as if the slider was at possition 1. is it just my install or are these known bugs??? any help would be appreciated.
