Just to count on the stats i 'm waiting all things to get polished and Steam version released. Meanwhile i keep myself satisfied with my Mig-3.

100% agree. Either get R5 1600 series or wait another few months for arrival of Coffee Lake 6 core with Z370 board. The 7740X is a joke.
I have an old I7-3770k with an non oc mobo P8h77-v le (LGA 1155) and i´m planning an upgrade. I did some research trying to match a good price/speed cpu and i got to the 7740x. I will have to buy a new mobo anyway. So you guys think it´s a bad choice based on my info?
So the Coffee lake which will be the newest generation, will use an old chipset motherboard( z370)? Not the x299? :unsure:

I would wait for the i7-7740X. The next generation equivalent to 7700 with same price.

Hello there, i am planning to buy the Sabre in a near future. Right now i am flying WW2 Soviet planes in IL-2 BOS while the Normandy map and WW2 planes are being build. Does anyone know if there is a historical map planned for this plane? I heard after 2.5, new maps will sort of start to pop up.. Thanks!

I also want of see alot of variation when it comes to ground targets like trains, buildings, factories, trucks, horse drawn carriages etc etc, that way I can always have something to shoot at in my Jug.
Please don´t shoot the horses. :cry:

I did some fast light/color tweaking and added a general grunge texture over the city to add some fake details. I also darkened bottom of buildings with the roads.
Hope it inspires someone, or maybe not. Feel free to delete if its any problem.

There are some FAB F-5 pictures with F-16s in the back and the location seems to be Nevada. Did we Brazilians join the Red Flag training?

Nice to hear about the WW2 Spitifire module coming along with the Normandy map soon.
I started a virtual, multi-title, cronologic and historic combat pilot career beginning on the early days of ROF. It would be nice if the Normandy map release date would match the end of my WWI career. About the Nevada map, probably it is gonna take me a while to put my hands on. (A virtual time machine is a possibility though.) :)
About prices, prey for us brazilians who had our currency shrinked radically by half in less than a year due to some bad administration. DCS prices are now 2 times more expensive.
I will probably be bankrupt by the 60´s. :)

Indeed. We have it in FAB along with the F-5 EM wich will be replaced by Gripens by 2018.
But i couldn´t recognize it in front view.

Just want to put my actual consumer opinion here.
I am really excited to get into DCS WW2 enviroment but before i open my wallet for any WW2 fighter, i first would like to see a WW2 map done. Would be nice to have a WW2 Trainer too.

I am getting stable 60 fps with high settings and Depth of Field :off
But when i use the mouse to look around in cabin or external it keeps the FPS stable but is not smooth. Looks like an optimization issue. Does it make sense?
Already tried The fix above. Still the same.

DCS 1.5 has beautifull graphics and...
I believe with Nevada and future maps, it´s going to be amazing. But i have couple questions:
Will DCS 2 have improved crash landing model?
Are the actual 1.5 clouds the old or new ones?

It´s going to be very unrealistic and weird blowing up planes inside USA. Maybe some Top Gun style mission with fake missile launch would help.

Looking great!! I just think waves are smaller in bay areas and closer to the shore where it tends to change direction to the coast. I guess it must be hard coding but transparency in shallow areas, close to land should help.
